So I guess I lost the other 'food thread' and found this one.

I'm surely WAY late on the uptake but grilled tri-tip Santa-Ana style tonight and cant get over how ******* delicious it was...

I learned to cook a new dish this past weekend - cow tongue. It's what my 8 year old wanted to eat on his birthday. I begrudgingly made it with guidance from my south american MIL and all in all, turned out pretty good, if I must say. Sorry, no pics.

12 hours on the kettle, another 12 hodl'n in a 150 sous-vide bath (first time trying). Turned out pretty good.
