1988. The Big House. 31-30.

Canes trailed Michigan 30-14 with under six minutes to play. After the 87 comeback against FSU, I felt the Canes would never lose again (I was nine).

The Drive is when I knew we had something truly incredible brewing, but for me, the k e that made me start to believe was UCLA in 98 and seeing Edge run all up in that ***. Still my fondest Canes memory.

Younger crowd here.... So I gotta go with this.

What an awseome video seeing the UM players taunting the FSU players and fans at the end ! :neonu:

Best sports game i've ever been to. The UM crowd after that last play went nuts for a good 20 minutes straight. It might have been the happiest moment of my life.......

As someone who stood on the sideline and rushed the field when we won, I agree it was a pretty good game.

The look on the band-members face is a classic "what the **** is happening", never forget it.

Bootf*cking Texas in the Cotton Bowl. Obviously not a great comeback or back and forth game but as a young Canes fan, I knew there was no stopping us from getting another title the next season.

The DRIVE vs FSU followed by UCLA game.

This thread should be saved for all

All great games however I though the question was around the "rebirth of the program" - has to be UCLA. Probation almost killed this program - we couldnt fill the Orange Bowl when we were winning titles however there was a very loud 45K fans that DID show up during the down years. So many games prior to this one we just gave up/didnt have the talent to finish. UCLA wins and they probably play in the Natl title game .... we kept falling behind and kept coming back again and again.... Edge was a monster. But for some reason what I remember the most, was the fans carrying Scott Covington on their shoulders after the game. I can not remember this EVER happening in the history of Miami.

PS Pretty sure the drive game shortened my life by at least 2 years.
