The Hurricane Moments that made you Believe

Epic '03 comeback against Florida in the OB. Berlin was on fire in that 4th qtr, and Ryan Moore had the look of a big time WR. Even Greg Threatt channeled his inner Sean Taylor with a key pick.

Who'll ever forget Brock giving up the mock '**** chomp!!!!! Good times man, good times.....

2 more moments:

Stephen McGuire's heroic effort in '91 at Doak in Wide Right I; that FSU defense was highly touted and we would not have won that game without his pounding away at that D.

Barrow killing Vanover in Wide Right II. Nuff said.......

When Jones picked Kannell off and ran it back for 6, I thought the world was going to end. Was in the next to last row at the very top of WEZ and the whole deck was shaking and part of the fence at the top fell off (lmao what a ****hole.)

Loudest moment ever at the old girl and there's been a lot of them.

This was definitely one of my favorite moments in the OB. Seriously, I was sitting in the WEZ for that game and the volume of that stadium after that pick 6 was unreal. So many great moments mentioned already - Wide rights I and II, the Drive, UCLA '98, etc. While the Drive was probably my all-time favorite, one that I'll mention that hasn't been talked about so far was UF '02. I sat in the UF student section for that game with about 20 'Canes fans. When Mo Sikes took the pick 6 back almost 100 yards, it broke the spirit of all the obnoxious UF fans in that stadium, and walking out of that stadium after stomping them was one of the best feelings I've had as a 'Canes fan.

Beating both Arkansas & LSU on the road, two very intimidating places to play and Miami just crushed them both.
LSU at night...their fans got really ugly. The rain kept it from getting totally out of hand.

I loved that ENTIRE 1988 season save one play that I'm still trying to get my head around where the zebras said, "the goal line caused the fumble." That season we beat four conference champions: Michigan won the Big Ten, LSU tied for the SEC title, Arkansas won the old Southwest conference title, and Nebraska won the Big 8 conference title. Oh and we opened the season against then #1 fsu and pummeled them from start to finish.

1988. The Big House. 31-30.

Canes trailed Michigan 30-14 with under six minutes to play. After the 87 comeback against FSU, I felt the Canes would never lose again (I was nine).

Not so much a moment as an entire game - October 19, 1985 - We travel to Norman Oklahoma and dominate the #1 ranked Sooners: 27-14.

This is perhaps tied with the game against FSU from the OP. Someone had told me earlier that day that we were basically a running team because Ken Dorsey was only mediocre. I said, "I don't know; he looks pretty good to me." Later that day I went to where she was working on something and told her, "We just won." She was both surprised and happy about that.

Look at that **** schedule. Truly no fear to play anyone, anywhere.

This was really my first year as a huge fan of the canes, I will never forget the FSU game, that Mich game, and of course crying when they stole that game from us in South Bend.

To be fair, we should have lost that Arkansas game...Atwater dropped a pick in his hands in the end zone.

This!!!!
The OB was rocking. Gah sunlife is never that loud. Hopefully if we start winning it will be

I can remember the exact location I was when Mack blocked that punt. Could take you to the building and point you to the exact chair. Great moment. Saw KWII's miracle 4th down catch in the same restaurant a table over.
