It's 3 days before the first game of the season and the first real wave of the Golden recruiting class - the one he'll live and die by ala Shannon with the '08 class. However, I keep seeing that "opponent's best games against the Canes" thread and it's making me a little nauseous.

In the spirit of getting this board's collective mind right, the momentum going in the right direction and ultimately putting the RIGHT kind of energy behind our team, I present this thread:

THE CLASSIC HURRICANE MOMENTS THAT MADE YOU BELIEVE

It's impossible for me to say that without thinking of the moment of rebirth of a dominant program:

LOL @ the comments

Oh no, our future 1st round pro bowl linebacker Dan Morgan is out. I guess we'll have to replace him with our future 1st round pro bowl linebacker Jonathan Vilma. Bummer.

That whole game was unreal. Morgan having to get IV'd up, FSU comeback, and then Dorsey's emergence on to the nation stage with his drive, and obviously the missed kick.

2 years later our CB vs FSU was pretty good too.

Edit: We were by far the best team at the end of the year in 2000 and would have curb smashed OU in the championship game.

1988. The Big House. 31-30.

Canes trailed Michigan 30-14 with under six minutes to play. After the 87 comeback against FSU, I felt the Canes would never lose again (I was nine).
