I can't tell if Guidry is calling an absolute **** game or if the players aren't playing their assignments properly. Back out of the backfield keeps leaking out uncovered. Other times they try so hard to make the big negative play and instead allow it to bust out for a huge gain. On the wildcat they know the QB will run but no one keyed on him and he ran for a TD.

Just wanted to remind you guys that this Cal team scored 9 points against FSU…..9!!!!

They went into that game thinking Noles were a pushover. We showed up to this game thinking they were. The one thing that is common is the two teams that looked over the other lost

The game is on Cam and the defense, period. Cam looked about as bad as TVD tonight. Holding the ball forever for no reason when he could’ve checked down the entire night and moved the ball down the field. Running game actually looked good too. Not sure exactly why Cam played the way he did.

Defense is bad. Louisville will destroy it, will have to out score them.

1 very bad loss, but hey Cal is 4-1, so maybe not that bad. Embarrassing either way. F*** this conference though.

Need to win out (unlikely) and then obviously win the ACCCG.

Regarding this game, hold them to a FG (lol) and then score 3 TDs and you win. Try that

There's no way the defensive scheme is this bad. There's no way. This is mostly effort and dudes freelancing, because even when a dude is in position to make a play(Looking at you Richard on that screen), they fail to do it. It doesn't take a superlative athlete to merely stand up and wait for help on a screen, that was a give up call. It doesn't take a superlative athlete to pursue the ball at full speed. This D decided this morning that they weren't interested in competing and it looks like it. Maybe running guys until they puke tomorrow fixes some of this, but honestly, it's obvious that this D is going to be a problem, especially if the DL can't win games on their own. If the DL feasts, it covers up the terrible secondary. If they don't, it's curtains.
