Make sense, if five special talents want in at WR you take them, never turn down this year for the potential of next year (especially now that the IC limits are waived for two years). But I do wonder what that will do for the WR slots for the 24 class? There are some elite WRs coming two years from now.
IC's waved for '24 take everybody.

Reading between the lines here. @DMoney , sounds like you're saying the Canes WR top 4 is (not ordered)

  • Washington
  • Joseph
  • Brown
  • Williams
I'm guessing Jean is #5? Would your priority list look similar?

One thing that stands out in that list is speed and Gattis clearly has expressed a clear desire to upgrade speed at skill positions.

If all five want in do they make room, bring one in as an ATH or first two that want in get the final two slots?

Everybody probably has a different order. Those guys are priorities, though. I think we would take all five.

It hilarious how yall get upset when someone reports that we’re not getting someone, that’s recruiting, even with White Hot recruiting momentum we’re not going to get everyone lol

I’ve got no issue if we don’t land Howard, keep pushing for Jayden Wayne, Bai Jobe & turn up the heat on Braylan Shelby, not to mention, we’re still big game hunting in the Nyckoles Harbor recruitment too. Fck it, make a run at Keon Keeley too just to make Notre Dame sweat for a bit, even if he’s 100% locked in with them, put pressure on’em just to because lol

But point being, there’s still a lot of options available at DE & we’re a long ways from Dec-Feb.

I’m not allowed to say this, but I’m actually good with the Aguero news, there’s a reason why I literally never said a word about him the entire year... I wish we would’ve pushed for Kylin Jackson at Safety, LSU loaded up at Safety this class & already has 2 committed plus are on the verge of getting Derek Williams. We could’ve been in play for Jackson had we pursued him much earlier.

Also wish we would’ve made a play for Curley Reed too, he’s another Louisiana DB that’s going to be leaving the state.

Any time a TX, Louisiana or CA kid isn’t staying in-state for the recruitment, Miami should be all over’em pushing the issue to get them down here & selling them on still being relatively close to home while playing at a premier program on the rise.

Either way, the recruiting news wasn’t as bad as yall are making it out to be, we’re actually sitting in a good position for a number of top 100 kids & are a legit threat on the trail battling it out with the rest of powerhouses.

Things appear to be on the UP & this is coming from me, someone who is always preaching about tempering expectations lol... If we have a winning season this year, the class will definitely pick up even more steam coming down the home stretch.

Flip season this Winter is going to be PANDEMONIUM lol

+M’Pemba.

But yes, agree with you. We’re good right now.

The M’Pemba recruitment will be interesting to watch...

He hasn’t taken any Summer OV’s yet, which means he’s gonna be a Fall/Winter OV & he likely won’t make his announcement until December (I don’t know that for a fact, just guessing based on how he’s handled his recruiting thus far).

Lots of recent visits to UGA, Mizzou, Tenn & Notre Dame, Miami is supposedly still in it, but he hasn’t been back here for awhile, but I’m sure the staff is still recruiting him heavily & keeping in contact on the daily.

We’ll see how that one goes.

D$ constructive criticism, if you can't read the player, don't make one. Cuz then the board take it as it's a fact and then we have endless threads of biching on speculation. We do need Bryant. He is probably one of the most important recruit based on his position. The first step is to dismiss UF and FSU , next is force outa state teams to have to take plan B kids. Good **** though. Sucks on Sanker 2, love his quickness as a guard.
D$ tells the truth even when he lies.
