I said it in another thread last night, but Horton actually being a dude would be such an incredibly massive development for the 2024 season. He doesn’t have to be dominant or even start. But if you can roll out Clark, Barrow, Cook, and then a young kid who can really play, we are cooking with plutonium on the defensive line. Him or Moten really need to be a good contributor. It’d be so huge for the overall defense.

Great post! Horton is the forgotten player. If he’s 307 and can contribute with the other 4 ( Clark cook Moton Barrow ) that’s huge. Scott will play! He’s too good. That gives us bodies and talent.

Exactly my feeling. Some position boards look weird and as of now the word developmental is the nickname of the 2024 class. But they will sugar coated until death with traits like size, uq, multi sport and lot of others.

OJ reminds me of DJ Ivey

Physically, stance, stylistically…he really does. His movements look twitichier, and he looks faster, for instance I remember watching Ivey's HS tape and his INT returns weren't pretty, he was basically tripping over his own feet. This kid looks smooth and fast on his kick returns.

Hopefully career is better….There was some bad, bad play from Ivey at corner (not to mention suspension, and bonehead special teams plays) during his UM times.

Recruiting cycle starts. Same spring and summer belly aching and crying, just like the last 2 cycles. Those are the exact sugar coats i wanna hear. Elite athletes, size speed, work ethic, multi sports. We could go back to slow and short
