This is how it feels to me as well. Obviously football is taken more seriously in certain parts of the country, but I agree that much of this feels manufactured for the fan bases. I live in Georgia and I know there are lots of good athletes here, but I don’t believe there is something so unique about Georgia athletes that we have such a disproportionate number of 5 stars relative to our state population.
You are correct, sir. But a 5 star projection is just someone’s speculation. At the end of the day…. 3-4 years from now, I doubt that there would be that many “can’t miss” kids. The unique things that we have here, are not really unique. We have a **** ton of kids here that still play football and there are some good coaches here. The difference I guess, is that our smaller schools kids in the smaller communities and some private school kids (that play public school ball) are getting some attention now. There are some real menfolk playing in some of dese smaller communities around the state. Colleges have been, but now recruiting publications have started to take notice.
