My issue is it sets a dumb precedent. There’s no upside to adding him outside of a PWO spot. If we want a stronger roster, we have to add stronger players

For CIS sake, i hope it is a PWO spot lol...although I doubt "landing him" would be mentioned if he's taking a PWO spot. CIS will go into full meltdown mode if this guy gets one of the cherished 85 lol

Agree w this for most part although I believe Williams has much better shot at staying outside than this kid. This kid is interior all day IMO.

Paramus Catholic plays against some of the top teams in NJ. They play Don Bosco, Bergen Catholic, Seton Hall Prep, etc

Yes, i'm well aware of those schools - but the main highlights were against small guys, at least early in the reel.

I watched the Bergen one separately and in the <2 min reel, he tackled a guy on a blatant hold 3 times. Those shouldn't be in a highlight reel, so it makes me wonder what's not in it. The Seton Hall DE/OLB was smallish and Bosco played what looked like a 3-man DL with a smaller OLB over him.

I'm just saying i don't think he moves well or has great balance bc i don't like his feet. I think he plays tall and when he plays against guys his size/power, he will not fair well. Just one man's opinion. If he commits, i hope he proves me wrong. I'm just really surprised by the offer after last year's class.

Corey Flagg's our backup MLB who runs about a 4.9. I completely support recruiting any LB in America who runs the 40 in about 5 flat to come in to compete for his spot. Upgrade baby!

Not a fan of taking Minaya this early. I think he plays high and has poor feet. He's just playing against midgets in his highlights. I can't see him being the prototype of what they are looking for at OL.
