Much as I would like to sign Flowers, I think we need to relize that any kid **** bent on playing QB, may get scared looking at our depth chart. In that case, Edouard may be the best bet, since the kid really seems to like the Canes and seems like the type who will be happy with an offer and the opportunity, no matter who else we have here.

Winky seems like the kind of kid who may get talked into thinking he WILL be a QB in college, and sold a bill of goods by WVU or UL. Just speculating at this point, but a lot will depend on how badly Flowers wants to play QB.

Morris is the only established QB we have and he will be gone by the time Flowers get here

That is true, but we signed THREE last year. Im not saying we DONT take Flowers, just that I dont see us taking more than one kid as a True QB next year. And I dont see Al lying to a kid. They MAY give him a shot at QB, but I imagine AL will be up front with him that if he cant cut it, they will likely move him.

Crow and Dewey arent going to scare him away. Not that it means neither of those 2 will be good. Just I dont see them worrying Flowers. And Thompson is a baseball player
