The 2014 Dade QB situation

If Freebeck is the real deal, we MAY have a decent shot. Doesnt Coley supposedly have hooks at STA?

I think you recruit him at QB

Morris is the only established QB we have and he will be gone by the time Flowers get here

I like Olsen, but their is still a chance he doesnt turn out to be any good. Most schools sign QBs every year
 
interestingly, scout lists THarris as a 4 star CB already. Does he even play CB now (in addition to QB)?

That is true, but we signed THREE last year. Im not saying we DONT take Flowers, just that I dont see us taking more than one kid as a True QB next year. And I dont see Al lying to a kid. They MAY give him a shot at QB, but I imagine AL will be up front with him that if he cant cut it, they will likely move him.
 
Someone like Louisville or Arkansas will promise Treon a spot at QB and land him and all his BTW boys.

I don't know the kid personally but I've seen them live and he plays like a guy who knows hes the best athlete on the field and plays QB so that they have the best chance to win. He's more Roscoe Parrish than Geno Smith.

Of course he is. BTW is anti Miami now and the Noles are all talkign about how they are goign to be raiding it on the regular. EVERY kid there now is going to be a 4 and 5 star. Even the back up Punter.

I feel very comfortable with Golden, Coley & Co recruiting STA. Where is the kid from originally, though? That could be problematic.

Edit: N/m just saw Western. Was thinking out-of-state for some reason.

He attended western. transfered out because his dad felt he needed more exposure, atleast thats what the western coach at canestime posted.

Agreed. I liked Fisch in general but his taking Crow that early scared the chit out of me. I can see Dewey being a take, as well as Thompson.
 
What about that Litton kid that has like Kong rep sheet. He's on rivals wearing a um hat.

I dont see Al pushing anyone out. Only kid I can see bailing would be Thompson if he decides to focus on baseball and it is clear that he wont really be a factor at QB. Not sure where Crow or Dewey would go. Williams looks like he will be a career backup here, but you never know.

Its the "collecting arms" approach. if you cant get a highly rated guy like Olsen you collect a stable of guys and play the odds. No problem with taking Crow, but that being said I dont see him or Dewey doing much here.
 
Thompson is without a doubt the second best qb on the roster.

But in regards to the QB situation and recruiting, I think you take Winky without a doubt and give him a shot and then you take Edouard. Gotta see the STA kid play.
