I've watched that play about 100 times now. Its up there with the NCST throw to me, almost.
Morris can be maddening at times but he makes some of the toughest throws look like absolute art. That was a thing of beauty.
I said the same thing to a friend yesterday. He was falling backward and flicked it 40 yards into a postage stamp sized window. It's natural ability like that that makes us all so nuts over what he could do if he ever gets more consistent with his mechanics and approach.
Two defining plays from that game were that throw, and the Williams throw to Waters. I immediately thought of some of your views on Williams after that dime he dropped. That's a throw that can change his career here. I try to keep perspective when I see him knowing teams are scheming for Morris and Williams is a curve ball but seeing him throw down field with that type of accuracy was awesome. You don't have to throw it 80 yards if you can put it in a glass from 45 when you are throwing to SFLA talent.
How about that bomb to Dorsett?
Officially 55 yards, but Morris threw that thing 65-70.
Not many qb's alive make that throw without lofting it up like a Jacory throw.
