That's my head coach

Whats funny is if you go back and watch the clip after AG jumped on him then a couple of other dudes did it too and he started screaming at ****'s!!! LOL Like 'Mother****ers get off my ****!"

I've watched that play about 100 times now. Its up there with the NCST throw to me, almost.

Morris can be maddening at times but he makes some of the toughest throws look like absolute art. That was a thing of beauty.

What a douche with the headphones on.

He looks like Cameron Diaz's brother in There's Something About Marry

That was awesome, but I think The Don tweaked Morris's ankle jumping him in like that. You could see Morris was really mad after that when someone else tried to come up and congratulate him. He walked off fine after the hit. Then, The Don jumped him in, and after that, he was limping around badly and was sour at dudes who were trying to grab at him to congratulate him.

This. I told my brother later that I thought Golden injured Morris and not USF. Glad someone else came to the same conclusion.

Pretty funny and gave Williams some good reps.

They'll never admit it, but I am pretty certain on further review that The Don cheap shotted El Girafe' when he jumped him in.

I know it was an exciting play, but why Golden decided to throw his 300 pound frame at Morris this week I dont understand...

Even Morris was kinda annoyed afterwards when others tried to come up to him, like mother****** back the **** up!

Either way, its cool to see the coach getting excited and celebrate with the players

Not knocking Williams because he looked great yesterday, but I hope our fans sit back and appreciate what Morris does sometimes. Seems we spend so much time dissecting his performances and "weaknesses" that we forget how special he is at times. Probably won't be appreciated fully until he is gone though which is usually the way it goes. He's probably made 3-4 throws the last couple years that no other Cane QB in my memory could make.

I said the same thing to a friend yesterday. He was falling backward and flicked it 40 yards into a postage stamp sized window. It's natural ability like that that makes us all so nuts over what he could do if he ever gets more consistent with his mechanics and approach.

Two defining plays from that game were that throw, and the Williams throw to Waters. I immediately thought of some of your views on Williams after that dime he dropped. That's a throw that can change his career here. I try to keep perspective when I see him knowing teams are scheming for Morris and Williams is a curve ball but seeing him throw down field with that type of accuracy was awesome. You don't have to throw it 80 yards if you can put it in a glass from 45 when you are throwing to SFLA talent.

Golden wants the NC badly and that is a very good thing. He is not just doing a job, this guys wants it the way JJ did. He has something to prove and THE U is his tool to do it, just like JJ use it to destroy OU. I love it. If I was USC AD, I would send Golden a signed piece of paper, blank check, and the keys to a G-5 for the fight to LA. The great news is that I think Al would turn down the job. Man is on a mission and wants restore and rule the Cane Kingdom.

I was laughing when Williams dropped that perfect dime on Waters because I was thinking of all the dudes who thought the deep ball was automatically out of the playbook with him at the helm. He threw the same sort of pass to Scott when he hurt his shoulder, and he threw several beautiful deep balls in fall ball. His arm is plenty good enough to succeed at this level.

It'll be a nice transition year next year when he steps in and the young QBs have a chance to play some mop up duty. And Gray Schmoe disappears.

Williams biggest asset is ball placement. I know you are plenty clear on his attributes but giving the receivers, especially this group, the opportunity to run with the ball is the key. Even in the NFL you see the glaring differences between QB's usually boil down to placement. Even a seemingly inaccurate throw like the back shoulder one he threw to Hurns is actually dead nuts where it needs to be. One thing Morris has continually struggled with is hitting short passes in stride and away from the defense. Williams has done it against crap competition but still, the results are there.

I've watched that Waters throw about 100 times too. Just watch when he releases the ball, where the safety is, and how it all ends up. Picture perfect.

As for the competition knock on Williams, people were touting USF's defense BEFORE we disemboweled them. Maybe our guys are just good.

some guy tried doing that to morris right after and he was ******* livid!! dude looked like he was shaking he was so mad lol

Brother, in all objectivity, that was one of the best td throws I've ever seen, at any level.
I understand Golden's enthusiasm. He just witnessed something that was absolutely perfect, and physically impossible for 99.9999% of human beings.
That throw was that incredible.
