Rewatch the Cal and VT games when Cam was erratic for most of those games. Now imagine those same guys chasing Cam but much bigger, faster, and stronger. And the guys covering our receivers while that’s going on, are also bigger, faster and stronger.

Those guys don’t throw as much as Cam. He’s thrown more himself than they have combined. They also don’t have near the amount of downfield attempts that take time to develop or have trust in their arms to make throws into tight windows, Cam does multiple times a game.

Van Burek threw it 37 times against Georgia. He threw one pick.

Cam Ward threw it 32 times today in a game where we were trying to score on every drive.
