if he did leave i pray someone gets hired that could hold together this recruiting class which by all accounts is extremely talented especially at D line, if this class were to get dismantled by a coaching change right now :ohlord: be careful what you wish for

It's not as if Golden and D'Onofrio were going to actually USE their talent.

If they're fast, Golden will fatten them up and slow them down.

If they're aggressive, Golden will numb them.

I'm hoping that as of 1/1/14 Al Golden realizes that he needs to change his defensive philosophy in order to keep his job and take the U to the top!!!!

I don't think it's realistic but IF we are looking for a head coach I would try to get Mark Dantonio.

But no more hiring consultants please.

There is one choice if Golden leaves:

Mark D'Antonio.

Guy is proven in a BCS conference, with a defense that is not only completely dominant, but perfect for our athletes. Guy would win a title here in two seasons

Golden to Penn State, and Schiano or Chudzinski to the U. Both have ties to the U, will bring NFL experience and a spark to the program. Ken Dorsey for OC under the new regime also! Let's make it happen we need change

As much as I think change will come we cant lose AG it will cripple us. LSU would take the most important kid Valentine.........cant afford to lose this class. After signing day do whatever.

Do not want Schiano or Cristobal.

Chud would be a homerun though. Guy didn't even get a fair shake in Cleveland.

Some additional names to look at: Dan Mullen, Rich Rodriguez, or Terry Bowden. (Taking my rival hating glasses off.) I think these are some proven good coaches. I wanted Mullen when we hired Golden.
