Then you kick him off the team...it’s not rocket science

Wouldn’t the issue then be the value of taking him with this 25 cap? You can’t just over sign the following class. I’m not at all an expert on this, and i’m sure a more seasoned poster can help.

Our Canes are changing the culture. Do you really want to add a cancer into the equation now? Too risky. PASS

Some say he’s a cancer some say he’s not....I don’t make the decisions I said he’s talented & I want to win. The coaches will make the final call, our canes need to change the culture and start winning games consistently.

I’m a teacher in a very urban area. We constantly get new students that had issues in other cities. When they come in and start that BS in class but the other students don’t follow suit, they cut it out real quick. If he comes in and the locker room doesn’t tolerate nonsense he will more likely than not straighten up. Everyone wants to be liked when they’re the new guy.

Stop with the cancer talk and brief politics crap. Point is this kid is a **** good football player and we need linebackers. You take him no questions asked, and I'm **** sure the rest of the commits will get him in line if anything arises.

This staff is currently slaying it beyond my wildest expectations so I can live with whatever they decide on this kid.

The far more important point in the grand scheme of things isn’t whether they take or pass on him anyway.

It’s the fact that in year two, Manny has been able to accomplish something no coach has since been able to in almost 20 years

He’s made an scholarship from the University of Miami mean something again. It’s no longer a steppingstone to get yourself more exposure or better offers.

If you get offered a ride to the U, their is no bull****ting to be done with it.

I agree here. Honestly, the staff has done such a great job it’s gonna be enjoyable to just sit back and watch how we close this class. Its been a long time we will have recruited so many talented kids and have to turn some legit players away.

Leave it to Randy Shannon to **** that and Willie Williams up.
I'm no Shannon apologist but let's be fair. Willie Williams (at least from my vantage point) walked the straight and narrow while he was here under Shannon. There were no on-field, off-field or anything issues to make one question his character, except for playing time.

Williams problems began after he let "advisors" get into his head and lead him to believe that the grass was greener on the other side. We all know what happened after he left behind the support system he had in place at Miami.

He had Glen Cook and Romeo Davis, lol. Guys that knew where they were supposed to be but didn't have to skill to play.
[sigh]

I'm still not over the fact we took Cook over H.B. Blades in '03, then turned around and took Davis over Maurice Crum, Jr. in '04. Crum and Blades (Miami legacies) combined for over 700 tackles in college. Crum was a 3 year starter and 2 time captain at Notre Dame. At Pitt, H.B. Blades was all Big East 3 times, first team all-American, and Big East defensive player of year in 2006.

Not true. The cops called Coker at one point when Willie got in trouble and they all swept it under the rug because they knew who he was.
