I would give the Freshman a chance come spring and see how they hold up and when the portal opens again pick one up.

This guy look like he was born to block. Pretty much all the uncommitted TEs in the 247 portal rankings look more like receiving TEs. There's a big boy from Holy Cross as well who also had ~500 yards receiving last year. Don't know if he can block

No, Pratt didn’t play in 2024 while Cam was here. He was in the NFL. He did play in 23 when TVD was here. Rumor was that if TVD did transfer to Bama, we were going after Pratt. Totally different 23 year with him imo.

IMO, Pratt doesn't declare if he's here behind our line, and with our RBs and WRs. But you make a fair and highly reasonable point. And more than likely, you are right.

Multiple ways to get around that, 2nd string OL or one of freshman Lineman. If it’s to add numbers bc the depth in that room is suspect then great. If somebody gets hurt they will be relying on the freshman and Jackson Carver, and who knows wat he’s been doing and if he’s actually making progress.
