Guidry was someone Cristobal already knew and had interviewed before, so it was a quick transition. My money is on Guidry’s replacement (if we even fire him in the first place) taking forever to be hired, thus costing us valuable portal recruits. prove me wrong

Back on March 30, Port Saint Lucie (Fla.) Vero Beach four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford chose Ohio State over in-state Miami. Mario Cristobal’s staff has battled to flip Alford back to the Sunshine State down the stretch, and at one time looked as if they might be successful.

Now, On3’s Steve Wiltfong reports that the intel is starting to favor the Buckeyes holding onto Alford with the Early Signing Period opening up on Wednesday.
