Same exact tackle but Moten hits harder so it got called targeting. Worst rule in sports. Is anyone going to care that the fumble against Georgia tech was targeting but since it wasn't miami they don't care it wasn't a missed called. The broadcasting crew didn't even bring it up. I'm fine with it but if you are going to penalize miami for a miami for a supposed missed call, you better penalize georgia for a worse penalty.
The rule changed to using the “6 inch circle at the crown of the helmet” this year. He did not make contact with that portion of his helmet.
I know most of you have no idea what 6 six inches looks like, so this confusion is understandable.
The point everyone is missing is that somehow the star of the game for GA was a white walk-on safety who was an absolute animal all game, targeting aside.
Link?Even a couple of the talking heads on gameday said it was targeting.
Link?
And a D lineman even tipped the pass at the line that should have negated any PI callTo me the call that did them in the most as the PI on 4th down in the end zone when the defender played it well.
Of course it wasn't in the chest, but even if it was it's still targeting.the official narrative ESPN is pushing is he hit him in the chest
