Sad. So Jameis winston rapes a girl, and the tallahassee police department aka #1 FSU fanboys go out of their way to cover it up.

Heads need to roll.

Nobody was talking about Winston last December when the alleged incident occurred. She didn't go to the press, it was leaked out by someone else. If there is some payoff involved, that will come out. Plus, that would have been the first card I would have played as Winston's attorney to discredit her. But looking at what is being alleged, the Trailerhassee PD and FSU sure seemed to think there was something worth covering up and trying to handle internally. I think the story thus far certainly seems plausible and a relatively typical case of a college date rape scenario

Look up the case from Iowa a couple years back of two Iowa players. There are eerie parallels insofar as the university trying to handle things internally. The police there though actually conducted a normal investigation. It was UI athletic admins who tried to cover it up.

Just my opinion...why the year wait ( real reason).....his new found success etc...

We jump on this due to him being a Nole...if this was not sports related the country would be all lined up on his side...yet the entire SEC, ACC and other teams he has torn to shreads is pulling for his guilt...just sad, he if he is guilty then arrest him and lets move on.
 
Since im not really paying close attention to this (non) story, can someone tell me this: Where have the gals underwear been for the past several months. (the undies that had Winston's DNA on them). Did the police have these or did the gal keep them in her lock box next to her pics of Justin Timberlake?

According to the article, which could be wrong since it is Yahoo Sports, the alleged victim was under the impression they were still investigating.

Don't get me wrong, I've seen plenty of cases of jealous or vindictive girlfriends, mistaken identities or the most problematic "he said, she said" scenarios where both the man and the woman were impaired. And when I first heard the story, my assumption was a chick looking for attention. But from what I'm reading so far, I think there is something there.

Either way, the trailerhassee PD were covering it up. They may have irreparably botched and jeopardized the entire investigative process. Which, of course, may have been their intent.

I guess Canes fans are just as ignorant as Noles fans since this girl wants and has wanted the whole thing to go away. Some reporter in Tampa dug it up and if you've followed the story at all she has never said anything towards Jameis camp. She isn't the reason it came up a year later.

As for her underwear, she took a rape kit the same night as the alleged incident. They just never took Winston's DNA until the story releaked. But boy oh boy she was really looking to railroad poor Jameis.
