I feel like whether he commits to us or them, his recruitment will be far from over

If we playing twitter games I think the retweeted are a troll. All of his latest follows are canes related, like 20 deep. #hecomin

I'm okay with it either way. I just watched a lot of his highlights. Made some nice catches here and there. But nothing that really jumped off the page. Also, I think in the 10 clips I watched he maybe broke 1 tackle after a catch. I'm no film expert by any means, and I trust the staff's evaluations. But with the guys we have coming in, I don't think this is a kid we should fretting over if he doesn't choose us. He's more a a luxury at this point.

Gates just landed Jamarr Chase - if they take Copeland and Shwartz, I'd imagine Thornton is a Cane.

Agree. I'm fine if he comes and fine if he doesn't. Not really worried about WR. We're loaded with the 3 we got and can always push for a kid like Moore if we need one more.

Speaking of Schwartz, if him and Corral sign with UF, that's actually a perfect combo bc Corral is one of the few guys in the nation that wouldn't underthrow him on deep balls.

Even if Thornton goes to UF, Miami will continue to recruit him through NSD. If he commits to Miami, which I think is currently more likely, he will still be a flip candidate for UF, particularly if Chase flips to TCU or LSU later on as I expect.

I like Elijah Moore over Thornton anyway. I'd take him regardless what Thornton does.

Corrall will be in jail before he gets to UF

wish we would monitor the senior seasons for the last receiver spot and then take another commitment, oh well

You really don't like Thornton. I think you're hoping he's a Gayte so that he's kept out of this class. I think it's bad to let a Booker T Washington kid with his skill set go to UiF or F$U. Yeah, we'll be ok with our roster and class, but I'd prefer not to see kids from our powerhouse/feeder schools go to the turds or the Semenholes.

Schwartz will quit football after his freshman year to focus on track, as he should given that he has a chance to win a gold medal in the 100m.

Again, there's a reason UF is his only committable major offer.

Another player Mac will use to pad his 247 ranking who won't do anything on the football field

I'd be OK with that. And I'd be OK with getting a commitment from Thornton. Either outcome won't make or break our class.

He's a very fast kid with height and length from a power Miami H.S. If we're going to take a 4th WR, that's not a bad combination.
