SWEET SIXTEEN V HOUSTON - FRIDAY AT 7:15

Typical responses from the Houston board and typical ignorance about what Miami does. First the one thing I see concerning is that Houston has depth but they also have some nagging injuries.

First they think we are a weak rebounding team yet we are always smaller and yet we win the rebounding battles by a lot. Few knew much about Norshad they will learn much more I suspect.
Two they read statistics that we are poor defensively and yet we swarm you double you and ball hawk you and all the experts agree our chaotic style is very very very effective.
And lastly they think we are a weak outside shooting team yes at times we are but Pack Wong and sometimes Miller can very very dangerous. And Poplar has emerged as a very solid player that plays physical and fast and can hit from 20 feet.
Another smug group from the Texas state 1 seeds are not exactly blowing the field away.

One way to say whether they are just score watchers are statements like this by one of the talking heads on CBS Sports HQ commenting on Omier saying...
..."outside of a zero game against Duke in the ACC tourney, Omeir has had a good season. "
what an 1d1ot !!

Miami and houston have literally the same results in the tournament so far. 1st game was a dud regardless of Houston’s injuries to key players. Miami came out flat against drake. Houston came out slow and held auburn to4 field goals the entire second half. Miami dominated an outmatched Indiana team. Not much difference. Shead and sasser should be healthier Friday.

Except Miami has played better opponents both times.

We may beat Houston, we may lose to Houston.

But you really need to take Houston's **** and balls out of your mouth.
Here we go.....

You of all people cannot be serious right now.

Oh, I'm serious all right. I live in Atlanta now, I don't talk about GaTech and UGa all the time, just because I get to read about those teams and watch them on TV all the time.

Come on. Let's stop drooling about how amazing and unstoppable Houston is.

If you feel I'm being overly harsh, then let's take a 96 hour break on talking about how wonderful Houston's basketball team is. Like with all things, I find the constant repetition to be the most problematic aspect.

I’m not entertaining you bro. Your entire persona is literally that of a UM grad and you’re telling me to stop sucking off the school in which I graduated from twice. If I’m sucking them off what do you do for Miami. Bend over and get screwed? Get real

**** off. This is a Miami board, "bro".

My "persona" is not that of a UM grad. I actually am a UM grad (three times to your two at Houston). And I don't go on other school's boards and tell them how wonderful Miami is.

You don't like it? I don't care.

Yeah okay man. Y’all ignore me complimenting both teams to just attack me. I’m over it have a good day

Eh. Auburn could beat Indiana. But I feel you this all amounts to nothing until Friday
While I agree, the difference in the games is Auburn **** the bed from the FT line. Not that they would have won, but they killed any chance of any comeback by not hitting any free throws. Indiana didn't play that bad. Take away the brick 3's after game was all but over they shot pretty well, I think they played above their level sans one guy. They didn't give us anything, we took it. I love Houston's team, not their fault Auburn laid an egg from FT line, but they were free throws man. Not turnovers, because they handled your d, that was what surprised me. They didn't turn the ball over. The d caused them to get in the lane out of position off balance where it was easy to block shots, but our guards are way better than Auburns and you didn't turn them over.

Miami’s guards are INFINITELY better players than auburns that’s a fact. I don’t think miamis guards are better ball handlers than auburns. That makes all the difference in the turnover department. Houston made up for that with like 20 blocks lol

I think ball movement makes up for ball handlers. I agree on the blocks, the d got them in bad positions taking bad shots.

100% ball moves faster than man you’re not wrong. I think Nijel pack has to go supernova pretty early for houston to switch up the coverages. They’ll live with the normal stuff for zay

Look, it's time for snowflakes to stop overreacting to everything. Nobody "attacked you". I just told you to get Houston's **** and balls out of your mouth, that's all. If you can't handle real talk, that's on you.

It's time to draw the line.

There's already another thread started by a Houston fan. All the Houston fanboy chatter can take place over there.

You are being oversensitive, as if I targeted you and/or your alma mater. That's not the case. I've experienced 40 years worth of "Floridians" and "Miami fans" telling us how great it is everywhere else, and how much they love the teams they rooted for before Miami. Enough already. Again, this is a Miami board. I didn't ask you to renounce your alma mater forever, but enough is enough.

But, hey, thanks for complimenting Miami.

Settle down. We get it, we're facing a 1 seed. We know it's a challenge.
