Obviously one of these kids was my nephew. This was all over a simple discussion we were having over his options & one of the other kids yall should be happy to hear(yet dismayed over the fact he is the most vocal about criticism from fan base)is Darnay Holmes. So while yall don't know **** about what's going on behind closed doors & who this staff is going after but you put up constant CONSTANT threads about Mike being so horrible. The majority of these kids love rumph & try to find logic why all yall **** on him. That's what this was all over initially. So I'm sorry yall can't handle the criticism when it's directed back on you. Darnay Is one of the kids very interested in us but he's not the easiest of sells. Let's give the staff an even deck so they can do what they do. Just give it a try & I'd bet wed be in for a pleasant surprise.
 
The thing is, you are not even criticizing us. It's more of a plea rather than a criticism, yet, we still have people on this board reacting like a bunch of thin skinned pansies who can't seem to understand how people hiding behind their anonymity talking **** about kids and their families can have an impact.

It's blatantly obvious that it can and does.

Dee, you're so right. It's almost comical to read the UGA board and this board. UGA fans are SUPPORTING Kirby Smart even though he is losing and they are slamming CMR for leaving the cupboard bare. On here, folks are slamming CMR cuz he cant win with Al Golden's recruits and wanting Golden and Coley back. LOL, like I said before CMR didn't come here with a magic wand and pixie dust and turn this team into Alabama.

I get it. Winning cures all. Then start ******* winning. This is all nonsense excuses. If a kid is that petty to use that as an excuse not to come to Miami or any other school then they were never going to that school to begin with.

I've found that message boards and local sports talk shows are a lot about arguing, trying to prove someone wrong, and saying so and so is bad. Since nobody is perfect you can usually find a flaw in a player, coach, or team and just hammer it until that person is gone and say "see, Jerry Rice was horrible all along, no team wants him now at 60".

I can see how kids would use this like you use the reviews on amazon before you buy something. The more touted ones have a lot of options and only one choice.

Richt's former players seem to be behind him and Miami's former greats seem to all be behind him. I believe Kirby Smart even had to put in a special no transfer to Miami for fear of losing players from UGA. They need to look at those reviews rather than the ones from people who couldn't even figure out how to unbox the product.

The team has sucked for over 10 years. We need to give recruits more reasons to come here than not come here. Seems pretty simple. This site can control the over the top bull**** while simultaneously allowing freedom and buffoonery. It chooses not to. It made the halfassed decision to kick the WEZ out only to allow tons of trolling and stupidity without the best of the WEZ. Legitimate football discussions disappear or get sidetracked by nonsense. Again, this is controllable by merging threads and mods not trolling.
 
Oh I'm going to support them but still going to call a spade a spade . Kaaya and coach Richt is he reason we have 3 L .

Not hard, really. You evaluate things differently when you're a 16-18 year old kid than when you're an adult. As an adult, folks tend to be more results oriented and less about the intangibles. I think the flip is accurate for 16-18 year old kids.

Well the majority of our fan base must be 16-18 yr Olds too then. Cause if results are what matters to adults you can't argue against mike... he's turned corn elder into a sure fire first rounder. He's got Adrian & redwine playing **** good on the other side too. The end of the day that's what he was brought here for. Not recruiting (which as I said kids love him) but on the field results... Not to mention some people might not understand we recruit not based upon if it's your position or not but based upon set areas... just sayin
