Do yall keep up with your bloodwork?

As much **** as I talk I’ve never actually done any PEDs and don’t really have any risk factors other than loving bourbon

Anyway I had a funny conversation today when I got my blood work back. My BUN levels are kinda high and if you don’t know about bloodwork that can be caused by a high protein diet

I said the same, but about triglycerides and cholesterol.

It’s good that there’s more information for people out there looking at these numbers in a vacuum

Creatinine levels are another one misunderstood when people workout a lot and eat a certain diet

It’s why Creatine was always believed to be so dangerous for your kidneys

The headline neglects to tell you that it can also slow the progression of heart disease.

Not a double-blind study. Oh, and there’s also this…

COI STATEMENT

All authors have completed the ICMJE uniform disclosure form at www.icmje.org/disclosure-of-interest/ and declare: support from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for the submitted work; no financial relationships with any organisations that might have an interest in the submitted work in the previous three years; no other relationships or activities that could appear to have influenced the submitted work.

Not to pick it apart, but the fish oil users were very obviously already taking the fish oil for a reason and while they claim to have accounted for "smoking status, alcohol consumption, obesity, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic renal failure, and use of statins, antidiabetic drugs, and antihypertensive drugs", one of the common reasons is hyperlipidemia and that got ignored. The study is worth noting, but the salacious headline is misleading at best.

Realizing I missed the opportunity to talk about the Ryan Garcia fiasco here. I’ve been discussing it on social media but figured I could shine some light on it for people here:

Long story short if you didn’t see it, Ryan Garcia got popped for having Ostarine in his system after his fight. Ostarine is a ***** SARM but that’s neither here nor there. Of course dude blamed it on a tainted supplement (I called it as soon as it happened)

The follow up is he blamed part of it on a company called NutraBio with their Super Carb supplement

When I tell you how bad he ****ed up here it won’t do it justice. NutraBio is the industry leader when it comes to testing. They have an entire website where you can plug in the lot number of your products and actually see the 3rd Party Test Results.

I’ve personally been to NutraBios facility many times (they are one of the few companies that actually manufactures their own products) and there is less than 0% chance Ostarine has ever been inside that facility

This ***** took an open container and put some Ostarine in it and sent it to be tested

I hate pussies like this that cheat and blame the supplement industry. Supplements are NOT the Wild West. People say it’s “unregulated” and that’s simply not true. The amount of compliance and testing layers im currently going through to launch this powdered version of my Brain Food product is insane

Magnesium before bed total body calming chase it with vitamin D all water soluble relief of cramping
Vitamin D before bed not that straightforward because of its potential to interrupt melatonin production

It’s not cut and dry but still worth noting

Magnesium before bed is great, in particular magnesium bisglycinate so you won’t **** and also Glyicine is great before bed

Based on what?
AMPK , protein kinase enzyme, ACV assists in put the body in fat burning mode .

Same mode the nicotine puts smokers into being slimmer triggering the body’s own AMPK .. when smokers stop smoking the immediately gain weight

Caffeine is another awesome trigger for AMPK

Also AIC meditation does the same in turning the body’s AMPK on as advertised in commercial like Ozempic type meds

only thing ACV has any proven benefits to help with is blood sugar support

ACV is fine but you’re drastically overplaying it

ACV has some light AMPK activity but I could rattle off quite a few simple supplements that have a better effect

Resevratrol. Berberine. Quercetin (one reason why I combined Res and Quercetin in my products) all significantly better than ACV for much of what you’re presenting here and they have more significant studies and anecdotal feedback across the board in other areas. Activating AMPK and managing blood sugar is incredibly common when it comes to herbal supplements

No doubt, ACV works very well with me , I’m done 40 plus pounds and my AIC is 5.6 down from 6.1 if I remember correctly.

The only medication I’m on is Statin do to my CAC CT scan has increased and cholesterol is a little high .

That’s awesome! What I love about finding certain supplements is finding ones that have positives with little to no downsides. Only thing I suppose could get weird with ACV is perhaps some effects on the lining of your esophagus or acid reflux in certain people.

I think it’s a good way to start the day for sure just personally push back on the “pinnacle” part you said

But I do education on social media every day and I’m sort of known for saying “there is no best” so that’s just kinda my thing 😂

Thanks for your patience, I’m not that smart appreciate your posts

“While this study was large and long-term, it wasn’t a randomized controlled trial (the gold standard in medical research).”
IMO, it’s true that multivitamins can be a bit of a mixed bag. I used to take them religiously, thinking they’d help with everything from energy to disease prevention. After a while, I switched to focusing more on a balanced diet and exercise.
