Our guys our plenty big enough. That's not an issue.
Our strength numbers say that our guys are plenty strong enough. That's not an issue either.
Many of our kids pass the eyeball test.

From my experience...

The main difference between guys who lift a lot in the weight room and guys who can actually use that strength on the field is TALENT.

A-freaking-men.

Did people actually watch Oklahoma last night? They weren't big at all. Their skill guys are small, albeit quick and arguably their best defensive player last night was an undersized LB walked down giving Kioudiangpijgrioj (sp), a future 1st round OT, fits with speed. They weren't in Bama's league in terms of size/strength but they played as good a game as they've played all year.

Your point, whatever it is, has nothing to do with the article. I think some of you who are commenting on here did not read the article.

The question is did you? OU has been known to have one of the top S&C programs in all of CFB. Right up there with LSU.

No I didn't watch it, I was on a date, but I watched some of it. I just don't get what OU S&C has to do with the article.

Yes I did. Was my assertion that they are a small team, overall, incorrect? Their skill players were frail and their LBs were undersized as well.

And that's all fine and dandy (I'm not familiar with their coach, to be honest) but that doesn't change the fact that they weren't a team built on superior size and strength, which many on this board seem to want or have wanted previous to this regime. My point is that we need better football players not an overhauled S&C program because big or small, football skills win games.

And Crimson_cane, you're right. It's off topic from the article. Apologies
