They want up front money, is that it? Otherwise known as a "bag" in south florida since NIL is not legal to HS kids...A lot of you have been spot with the recitation of the law and how this developed. Yes, Rashada has been the impetus behind the demand. My source is an NIL agent. Their departure is by no means set in stone but they are shopping around for lack of a better expression and Louisville has been the name in those talks.
Canes are 'fəked. In before the thread goes to sheets
its SFL. they'll find something new to complain bout. we could put up 60 a game and they'll say gattis looks too good on tv for them to come hereAin't nothing done til pen hits paper. We'll win 10 games and all the doubters, naysayers and mopey little ******* will have to find something new to complain about.
If we win this year and look good doing it...and the narrative still doesn’t change for 23 or 24 class than you know the well is completely soiled and it’s irreversible.its SFL. they'll find something new to complain bout. we could put up 60 a game and they'll say gattis looks too good on tv for them to come here
well get more but like the dudes that know the HS game down here have said - we gotta stop being the program thats always there for them. Mario will change it though. IF the Washington kids flip, id say be done w them. make the statement. they're good players but at some point you can't be he girl back home while the dude gets his fun in elsewhere. same goes for transfersIf we win this year and look good doing it...and the narrative still doesn’t change for 23 or 24 class than you know the well is completely soiled and it’s irreversible.
Unfortunately I’m under the impression that is irreversible even if we went on a Clemson type run
Lol at human perspective and perception being irreversible. If we win this year and look good doing it...and the narrative still doesn’t change for 23 or 24 class than you know the well is completely soiled and it’s irreversible.
Unfortunately I’m under the impression that is irreversible even if we went on a Clemson type run. I could see it changing maybe a decade from now but don’t see it changing before that
if the handlers/coaches/whatever you want to call them outlook doesn’t change than the kids won’t either. It’s an indoctrination at this point.Lol at human perspective and perception being irreversible.
Let's push the breaks good lord.
They've been doing that for 40+ yearsif the handlers/coaches/whatever you want to call them outlook doesn’t change than the kids won’t either. It’s an indoctrination at this point.
Yes. But it’s a mix of things now... Social media, mainstream media, etc all indoctrinating these kids...mainly in favor of sec schools but there’s one offs like the buckeyes. They've been doing that for 40+ years
You are certainly entitled to your opinion.Yes. But it’s a mix of things now... Social media, mainstream media, etc all indoctrinating these kids...mainly in favor of sec schools but there’s one offs like the buckeyes.
Fixing what’s wrong in south Florida is infinitely harder than it’s ever been. NIL sure doesn’t help either
As are you. And I certainly get where you’re coming from. But in my opinion I believe even if Miami goes on a Clemson type run over next decade we will still struggle in south Florida due to the culture. Manny got extremely lucky with COVID because that’s the best south Florida class since Randy’s in 08.You are certainly entitled to your opinion.
We've sucked for 20 years. As are you. And I certainly get where you’re coming from. But in my opinion I believe even if Miami goes on a Clemson type run over next decade we will still struggle in south Florida due to the culture. Hope I’m wrong but that’s my gut feeling/opinion
