Let's be real here - Morris was a Plan C kid when the first couple of kids flamed out.
Joe Brennan of New Jersey was the top target that year. He chose Wisconsin then we moved on to Morris.
From what I have seen, Morris has not developed beyond a mid-level D1 recruit (i.e. UCONN, UVA, Purdue) thus far. I don't believe he is even in the All-ACC discussion, much less All-American. If you disagree, pls explain. Thanks.

Mid-level D-1 recruits do not win starting QB jobs at Miami, particularly ones hand-picked by Whipple.

There's this thing called player development, it often happens to many guys during the off-season, including, get this, quarterbacks. Unless you have direct access to spring and summer practices and know for a fact that he looks like a **** out there, then you don't know **** about how he's developed. Neither do I, for that matter, but I'm not running around saying he's the next Gomer Manning, either.
Check back after 6 games or so of this season, and if he's struggling, then you have a case. But to make a proclamation like that with zero evidence? That's just dumb-dumb talk.
