D$ literally said in the bank that this was the big commit. D$ “Was this the big commit that you guys were talk about? Yeah we knew this was coming within the week that’s why we gave the week timeline, but there is more to come” this was the big commit during the week. There is still more to come, but Collins was the big commit.

Tbf to some ppl the way some posts were replied to one could have inferred something bigger was coming. Part of the issue when everything is in riddles or not made clear.

But two good commits is awesome anyways.

Collins’ film don’t do it for me. Idgaf if he’s 6’9 and a 6 star that film combined with his limited exposure to football plus a knee injury dampers the excitement big time. He’s SLOW which is the #1 problem on defense now.

Oh I agree abt how it was “inferred” but doesn’t change the fact that D$ clarified in the bank.

Well if that’s the case then why did D$ say Collins wasn’t the big commit he was talking about the night Collins committed?

Hunter should be in the portal if Deion leaves, hopefully he doesn’t go to FSU.

Nah, D said last time he was give a similar heads-up it was CM not that it was going to be like CM.

Its going to take one of these kids flipping away from us and saying that the reason they flipped was because they read CIS and felt like they weren't wanted at the program for some of the slapdicks on here to be happy we're even flipping kids from another P5 program. Much less an undefeated, CFP blue blood program with a former Super Bowl coach at the helm.

Seems like people here don't remember when we were really off-season champs under Golden with a top 5 recruiting class and then the wave of Decommits would start once we started losing games. 90% of the recruiting trauma I have is from seeing those decommit "Respect My decision" and "Miami is home, but I have to make a business decision" post out of Apple notes and then the flip edits.

I don't think that reaction would really come about if we were a program that was consistently winning and developing players. When D$ says something like "last time I got this type of cryptic message it turned out to be cormani mcclain", people are obviously going to think CM level and add in and all this huge second wave stuff.

Then when it turns out to be a horton type you aren't too familiar with and you look him up and he's a 3 star, you might ask yourself how this is any different than shannon, golden, manny diamond in the rough 3 stars they were hyping as the next big thing? You may be a bit skeptical, especially after seeing this staff go 5-7.

Not saying that's what I think, but I can see how that the perspective develops after 2 decades of this program abusing us lol
