Watching Willis last night was a good reminder. Dude was unblockable. No wonder he was a 5 star. He has not played in forever and was our best D-lineman. We have to get better players not just diamond in the rough cases at critical positions. Neal, Stevenson, Campbell those are game changers.

Of course they matter. Only the idiot homers would argue that. "Richt gets the 3 star gems" Just like the Radio Special and the Golden special. We just never played teams with a lot of 4 and 5 stars before besides Clemson and the FSU teams that used to stomp us.

This staff is clearly not good enough at coaching people up. We cannot rely on schemes, and the days of finding enough south florida hidden gems to compete with the big boys are over.

If we're are not signing top 5 classes every year, we will never get over the hump without a serious upgrade in playcalling on both sides of the ball

This. Look at our DT and OT commits this cycle and youll see why that will never change.

All the data consistently shows that teams who recruit more 4 and 5 stars win more. People who deny that are as bad as flat earthers.

Everyone knows it. People just don’t want to admit it. The best players on the team are for the most part the best recruits.

Willis is maybe the only guy on the defense where I can say wow he played well. Maybe MJ because I didn’t see him much which is good for a shutdown corner. Redwine looks lost a lot

Richt sucks at recruiting OL. Kirby recruited more blue chips at OL in the last 3 classes then Richt recruited in his entire time at UGA.
Kirby is a monster thats why, people in denial here just like they were with Jimbo when he started that monster **** at FSU when he first started. When a coach can come in and clean up on the trial he will be successful

This team lost to Troy last year and we lost to Pitt and Wisconsin.

We didn't lose this game because of talent. Even if LSU is a little more talented, they're not 33-3 more talented

Nobody's in denial, Miami just can't cheat like Kirby/Saban do. Even if Richt wanted to, we dont have the same SEC booster network and resources.

You have to win to get recruits at Miami, that's really the only way. Maybe a Cristobal-type could do it without winning but I dont see anyone else who could

Lots of people were saying Richt is the better coach then Kirby and that Richt recruits better then Kirby, but he just doesn't care about the stars.

So why did we lose then? Is it because Coach O is just that much better of a coach then Richt?

We didn’t loose this game because of stars. We lost this game because our quarterback sucks and we had 11 penalties for almost 100 yards. If we get decent qb play and we cut those penalties in half this is a different game. I don’t think talent had anything to do with it. They didn’t straight up overwhelm us with talent at all.

Virginia tech embarrassed FSU yesterday by winning the trenches. FSU over the last 4 years averages out to a top 10 class easily while Virginia tech might not even crack the top 30.

Apparently, he doesnt care about doing the things necessary to win. Good money, low expectations, those are things to care about.

Im soooooooooooo tired of this bag excuse. Its such a weak argument. Kirby is kicking *** on the recruiting trail because
1. He is **** good at it
2. He has legitimacy - coming from Saban's coaching tree.
3. UGA spends a lot of money on football resources.
4. Has a rabid fan base behind him (not a fickle one like who wants to throw in the towel after one bad loss)

That last point is bull****. Every season Richt had these ridiculous losses and everytime the fanbase got furious.
