I remember Lance Roffers said recently a scout he knew watched Emory tape and said he wasn't even qb caliber for Missouri State

Cis fans have brain rot. Missouri State is about where I think he ends up. Those practice reports still have people thinking he has potential. I'm sure schools will be beating down the door for a career 50% passer with a noodle arm.

Arm talent aside what was most alarming to me is how rattled and unprepared he looked all 2nd half of the bowl game

I agree that was the most alarming thing. We knew he had a windup that would make Nestor Costes look like he was moving at lightspeed but the deer in the headlights made me wander if he ever took any practice reps.

I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face, the two games he played two years ago, while we won one and lost a close one. If you go back and watch the games, you see a quarterback that was awful in both those games. And while he made a couple of throws, they weren’t big time throws and even a squirrel finds a nut from time to time. In those games you saw a quarterback that has a noodle arm and a low slow release and you saw how many balls were batted down by the defensive line in those games. I knew it right then, and there, that this kid is group of five or FCS level and nothing more. Practice reports out of UM are like an episode of the X-Files, anyone who believes them, are the same people pumping conspiracy theories about anything and everything. If you’re not at practice, you don’t know a **** thing of what’s going on there.

Nothing wrong with being optimistic. People are also really excited to just **** on players so they can tell everyone “I told you so” since statistically most of these kids don’t pan out

My issue is when you get overwhelming evidence and still refuse to acknowledge it
