Staff assembled?

If DVD is not an on the field coach he can’t go recruit right? Seriously asking I am not sure? If that’s the case maybe he can coach special teams or something so he can still recruit because he can recruit his *** off and he is just starting. He’s only going to get better at it too.
Special teams? You don't think we're keeping Patke?

It’s why I said above all Mario was/is one of only 2-3 people we could have hired that walks into any HS in the tri-county area and immediately gets respect from the HC’s there.
He’s about to shut off the State of Fla. again and other schools ,especially Ufag and the Semenholes ought to be scared….really scared.

Van Dyke and Robinson could be options to stay under Cristobal, but it seems like a new staff across the boards is more likely.

Here are two names to keep an eye on in the secondary:

Rod Chance, cornerbacks coach at Oregon

Corey Bell, assistant director of player personnel at Florida

COORDINATOR NOTES
• All eyes are currently focused on former Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

• A source close to former Hurricane Rod Chudzinski believes he would “definitely” return to Miami if Cristobal asks him to join his staff.

• Arkansas offensive coordinator Kendal Briles is reportedly interested.

• Jimmy Lake is considered an option to be the Hurricanes’ defensive coordinator

• Doug Belk could be an option to serve as the Hurricanes’ defensive coordinator.

OTHER COACH NOTES
• Keep your eyes on Oregon wide receivers coach Bryan McClendon and offensive line coach Alex Mirabal as likely assistants to follow Cristobal to Coral Gables.

• Even though Miami tight ends coach Stephen Field was on Cristobal's staff at Oregon in 2018, retaining Field seems unlikely.

• Penn State’s Ja'Juan Seider seems like he would be a good options to be the Hurricanes’ running backs coach as a coach with experience recruiting in South Florida and coaching top players.

Please no Chud.
Stop the Chud slander. He ran a pro-set 20 years ago and won us a Natty (almost 2) when he was 30 years old. He's not coming back, and hasn't called plays in over a decade. Chud's tight with Mario and roomed with Lou (mario's brother), but every freaking time his name gets thrown out for OC, and boys trash him. He's happy up in Massachusetts w/ 4 kids and a wife, who is also a UM alum. Guy has 2 rings as a player, and 1 as a coach.

This is not toward anyone in particular, but we as a fan base have some odd obsession with retaining staff from a failed regime. I don’t quite understand it lol I’d much rather move on completely from people who failed. Not saying it’s all their fault but we do not need to retain anyone.

Sad if Cristobal doesn’t keep Field on staff. He was one of the top recruiters in the country last year. But I trust Mario to put together a great staff so I guess we will see
Still believe he’s retained. But if not, he’ll end up with Lane or at FSU. Hickson is the one I have no read on.

Any intel on Jimmy Lake and Doug Belk? Don't know a ton about either one.
