Staff assembled?

Coley as a QB coach only (or TE coach if you want to get rid of Field), gameplan assistant, and RECRUITER is a very, very, very good pickup.

He's one of the best recruiters in the entire country and has massive SFL ties. As long as you don't let him call your plays, he absolutely would make a tremendous addition to any staff.

Uhhhhhhh, no.

Like what is it with us hiring these cats that have never played the game, especially with coaching one of the most important positions on the field. I swear nobody has hired more of those types more than Miami these last few years. We need to stop doing that ****.

Everything I heard about Coach Clint Hurt when he was at UM was that he was a very good DL coach.

He may have gotten tripped up in the Nevin Shapiro scandal, but Hurt not only knew how to develop players, he had a great eye for talent. I am sure Hurt benefited from his recent stint in the NFL.

I am a big fan of Jess Simpson, but if he isn’t retained, I like Hurt as his replacement

I would rather Dorsey at qb. Mario and his ol coach with trob and the dB coach from Oregon are all elite recruiters. Don’t need to take coley for recruiting.
Can't see Dorsey leaving the NFL to be a college QB coach. I doubt he'd leave for anythimg less than OC, if even that.

Seider has only coached RBs at the college level, I find a hard time believing he is leaving to be a TE coach especially when he has no relation to Napier. They already have a RB coach. If he wants to come back to Florida he would come here.
Mullet offered him TE’s and he turned it down but @flagator86 says he didn’t want to work with Dopey Dan.

What do you think of Dan Lanning? Young guy with pedigree and would rock the boat with Georgia.
