Fat Al ****ed up Duke's rare, once in a decade, raw abilities by promoting his supposed " Weight gain regimen".... Its simple fellas, this is not the NFL, we want explosive plays.. (duke led the nation of plays over 50+yards =11 of them in his Fr year). And now, he gained even more weight (205lbs) oh my,,!!!, This scenario is heading the same way as Clinton Portis.. To heavy for his body.. ! Its sad cuz i think Duke is a bad man.. !! Explain this??

By the way, Coley is disgusting!

Wtf are you talking about? Duke looked every bit of a playmaker last season before getting injured.

Are you trolling bra?
In 7games, how many 50+ plays did Duke have last season?
we are talkimg about explosiveness!! granted, Duke is bigger and stromger, but he is not as fluid
as his Fr year plain and simple my ninja!
people are going to say he"was nicked up" last season etc!
listen, he was caught from behind against Savannah st ( KO) and against North Carolina- just to name a few.
His Fr year- this would have been an easy "6" bra.

Look at golden's latest quote- this is all i hear from him.
chickillo is a beast as well ( lol- 5% body fat) - according to him.

"Golden said 'if you haven't seen Duke Johnson you are going to be blown away by him - 205, 206 pounds. He has really turned a negative into a positive, changed his body. He has an edge about him, can't wait to come back.''

You're the type of fan that kills me. You hear sombody else complain about Weight Gain and it slowing Duke down , so now without any evidence you're dead set against it.
Dukes never been super fast so kill that myth. He has great vision, and great short yard burst and also some pretty nifty feet.

Evidence that you wanted.

1) :44 Wasn't leaving the db behind and linebacker caught up
2) 1:09 Not leaving db behind had to angle in for td
3) 1:55 Couldn't out race defense
4) 2:17 Barely got by db and got tugged from behind
5) 4:28 Not out running defense

Also I think Duke is our best and most important player and the weight gain will help with the stuff that the highlights don't show (Ereck Flowers always having to scrap off the ground cause he was nicked)

Coley would be the most explosive player on 90% of teams in the nation. He is a freak of athlete, and a game changer with the ball in his hands. We finally have the type of players that will keep opposing DC's up at night. I can't wait to see Coley and a healthy Duke on the field at the same time.

Ur underselling him haha, no way 10 % of the teams have players more explosive than Stacy

LOL I was trying to be conservative.

This team could really be full of explosive plays this season. Close your eyes for a second and think about Stacy, Dorsett, a healthy Malcolm Lewis, and Duke on the field at the same time, WOW talk about pick your poison.

Malcolm Lewis?

What's so puzzling?

So, would most on the board rank him above Duke as the team's most explosive playmaker?

Because duke touches the ball more, an explosive play by him is more likely in a given game. but i don't think there is much question in my mind when one gets caught from the back, and the other doesn't, who the more explosive player is.

On most plays Coley only has to beat one person.
Duke has to get by 11 on his way to the end zone.

7-0 with Duke last year including beating a ranked at the time Gator team. 2-4 without Duke.

Coley is great. Really a great wide receiver and he's only going to get better, but Duke is the most explosive and easily, the most important player on this team.
So little of what you wrote has to do with who is the more explosive athlete. I agree that duke is more important, even though that isn't relevant either. Perhaps different definitions I guess.

Funny cause it looks like Coley has put on at least 10lbs since coming here.

Coley will break Hankerson's season record and Moss' career record by the time he leaves. Will be most accomplished WR in Miami history.

He is that good.

Good point. Coley is best WR we have seen here in ages and maybe best in country, but Duke was the team the last two years. With him, we are in it, without him we seem helpless. If QB and coaches make better use of Coley and what he opens up on the field, Duke will control games and destroy other team's heart. The pair should make our offense unstoppable -- assuming a decent QB and coaching.

Kid is the best WR we have had since Dre. Doesn't have the same size and they're different WR's but Coley is just smoothe and way faster than I thought.

Malcolm Lewis pre injury definitely. He didn't do much of anything last season to really judge his explosiveness.

Coley is faster than Duke and has better acceleration.

Anyone disputing this is a moron.

I would say Coley is faster than Duke but would not definitely say he has better acceleration. How quickly people forget Duke's high school and freshman play. Also, keep in mind Duke was timed by Swasey his freshman year at 4.39

In no way am I saying Malcolm is on Coley level, lets be clear no one on this roster is on Coley level. What I am saying is there will be multiple explosive players on the field at once this season.

Let me reintroduce you to Malcolm Lewis
