Stacy "Silky Smooth" Coley

Duke has better acceleration, stiff arm and change of direction. I would say they have equal vision but Coley has higher top end speed. Definitely the top playmakers on the team, along with Yearby and Elder (he needs to be on offense)

Stopped reading after this.

Fat Al ****ed up Duke's rare, once in a decade, raw abilities by promoting his supposed " Weight gain regimen".... Its simple fellas, this is not the NFL, we want explosive plays.. (duke led the nation of plays over 50+yards =11 of them in his Fr year). And now, he gained even more weight (205lbs) oh my,,!!!, This scenario is heading the same way as Clinton Portis.. To heavy for his body.. ! Its sad cuz i think Duke is a bad man.. !! Explain this??

By the way, Coley is disgusting!

Wtf are you talking about? Duke looked every bit of a playmaker last season before getting injured.

So, would most on the board rank him above Duke as the team's most explosive playmaker?

Very close; Coley get's the slight nod though b/c of his theme music.

Bt-dub, anybody know the title or artist for that song?

I'm guessing from his HS film?

Syndakid - Famous, the guy has like four different versions and I can't remember which one is Stacy's.

I can't say enough about Stacy Coley. He's a lighter Sammy Watkins, but a more natural receiver IMO.

With competent QB play, I think he's one of 2-3 best receivers in CFB by the end of the year.

Coley would be the most explosive player on 90% of teams in the nation. He is a freak of athlete, and a game changer with the ball in his hands. We finally have the type of players that will keep opposing DC's up at night. I can't wait to see Coley and a healthy Duke on the field at the same time.

Ur underselling him haha, no way 10 % of the teams have players more explosive than Stacy

Coley running at 80% is faster than 95% of our team. Soo smooth.

Pretty sure he's the only Miami player to score TD's by Rushing, Receiving, PR & KR in the same season. And he did it as a True Freshman.

I really can't even compare him to any wide receiver in the game right...which is phenomenal. Very special talent. All-ACC this year.

LOL I was trying to be conservative.

This team could really be full of explosive plays this season. Close your eyes for a second and think about Stacy, Dorsett, a healthy Malcolm Lewis, and Duke on the field at the same time, WOW talk about pick your poison.

Duke, just like most freshmen running backs, needed to gain weight. That isn't Al's Fault. Duke is a ridiculously talented player, but he has to develop like anyone else. It's not like Duke went from 180 to 225 in one season.

Coley is the perfect example why it's so important for Golden and staff to keep the local ballas home.

Easily.

Duke is by all means a stud and playmaker, but he doesn't have quite have the same physical talent. Not a knock at all.

We talked about this a lot but I think Duke within the front 7 is elite. But he just can't outrun the secondary, certainly not the way Coley does. What Duke does in between the OL and the LBs is truly special though.

That being said, Coley is otherworldly.

I get the same feeling when I watch Coley as I did when I was watching guys like Sean Taylor, Edgerrain James, Andre Johnson in awe of watching greatness in this one in a decade/generation player.
BTW throw Duke in there as well.

I think it's pretty awesome to have both Duke and Coley on the field together. The two of them are a **** of a playmaking duo, and something we've been lacking for years. There is a bit of overlap, but they also have their unique skills, so it's hard to compare directly. However, they both have excelled in the return game, and the offense has such an advantage when an opponent has to game plan for both of them. Hopefully they both stay healthy this year, I think the season depends on it, especially with an inexperienced QB.

Are you trolling bra?
In 7games, how many 50+ plays did Duke have last season?
we are talkimg about explosiveness!! granted, Duke is bigger and stromger, but he is not as fluid
as his Fr year plain and simple my ninja!
people are going to say he"was nicked up" last season etc!
listen, he was caught from behind against Savannah st ( KO) and against North Carolina- just to name a few.
His Fr year- this would have been an easy "6" bra.

Look at golden's latest quote- this is all i hear from him.
chickillo is a beast as well ( lol- 5% body fat) - according to him.

"Golden said 'if you haven't seen Duke Johnson you are going to be blown away by him - 205, 206 pounds. He has really turned a negative into a positive, changed his body. He has an edge about him, can't wait to come back.''
