Battle is great but TS is another level IMOBattle is basically an even trade for TS....although we really need both.

Well, let's see. We won in 2001 with two safeties who were not at the top of their positions in the country. Ed Reed I think was underappreciated, maybe played more QB and was known for that. Of course, he turned out to be one of the best, if not the best, to ever play safety. The other guy, James Lewis, was not a premier recruit but turned out to be a very solid and reliable starter on a championship team. I don't think either guy was among the very highest rated recruits at safety in the country. They were evaluated very well by Butch and the staff and were well-coached.Ifyou want to win ships, you got to pull kids like Stevenson and Battle. That would be the best safety hull in the country and it wouldnt be close. Point blank period.
After speaking with a source close to St. Thomas, I can report that Miami is very much alive with Battle. Right now, Battle is very receptive to what Miami is telling him and the source would not be surprised if he ended up signing with Miami when it is all said and done. As for the Aquinas players that are already committed to Miami, they are as solid as they come. As long as Miami does not completely lay an egg on the field this year, Munoz, Solomon, and Huff are not going anywhere. The source feels like Miami could end up signing five Aquinas players in the 2019 class. I was also told that the 2020 class will not be any different and people will start to view Aquinas as a University of Miami pipeline.
Battle is great but TS is another level IMO
Different era, those guys had to sendout vhs highlight tapes. Now you could stream your highlights on twitter. Point is it was easier to hide undervalued talent. That is not the case now look at the last 10 ship winners very high rated classes. Btw ive seen TS play a couple times he is the best DB in the country n he's from dade, he's a must get.Well, let's see. And don't forget about Betty and DumervilleSeems like Derek wingo is a heavy osu lean but good news nonetheless.
Really want Rosemy in the next class.
And obviously battle and Ingraham to go with what we have now from there
And gogeta likes that wr jahvonte royalAnd don't forget about Betty and Dumerville
Battle looks like he can be a first rounder.....TS looks like he can be that and legendary. Its crazy that every year this is the case in sfla. I just hate its been to many years and too many sfla seeds planted elsewhere in different school that affects the future. Close Close CloseAnd I dare say we want both badly. With that said TS seems to be leaning to a business decision.
IMO only difference is tyrique is slightly fasterBattle is great but TS is another level IMO
and his frame is ridiculous , he will look like a monster by his 2 year in college.IMO only difference is tyrique is slightly faster
True physique wise he is on another level, but after Gus gets his hands on Battle...watch outand his frame is ridiculous , he will look like a monster by his 2 year in college.
Oh yea Battle has NFL potential like not just making it to the nfl, but being a high draft pick productive nfl player.True physique wise he is on another level, but after Gus gets his hands on Battle...watch out

Bags are a problem and a reality but at some point they just become a cop out. It was excuse number one when many were still on the RS and then Golden bandwagon. The problem with some of these misses are the bags being dropped. Not sure if TS falls into said category. We could really benefit from UGA coming back to earth this season.

So what happened with 18 class? I know the bag game is real and we can’t compete but we have other things working for us and need to take advantage of them and thus far Richt and crew have done great job there. This cycle isn’t over yet, let’s see how we finish. We will always lose some kids that are elite, that happened even when we were on top. We just have to land most of them. Last cycle we got almost everyone we wanted.Another message board fan who believes bags are an excuse to losing players. In the real world, it’s not an excuse, it’s the reason! Furthermore, Bama and Georgia or anyone else weren’t buying kids like this during Shannon and Golden days either. This is a whole different ball game.
