Spring Transfer Portal

Well doesn’t change the fact that it is incredibly easy to see why a team would take that risk. Let’s say a team feels they can make him JUST barely below average starting qb as far as accuracy goes…you combine that with the fact he’s the top QB athlete ever, and I get it. Would I do it? Not over Young or Stroud. But over Will Levi’s? Yeah personally I would. I do think top 5 is too early, but that’s how the draft works for QBs.

It’s incredibly risky and unlikely to pan out. …..but what if? That’s what every Gm is thinking to themselves. Plus I’m sure he will excite the fans. **** some may be saying even if it doesn’t work maybe he can switch to TE or WR and be good…. I mean think about how athletic Kyle Pitts is at TE. Richardson is same weight, 2 inches shorter (so thicker) with 1inch shorter arms and bout same hand size, runs the same 40, has a 7 inch higher Vertical jump, and the same broad jump… he didn’t perform any of the agility drills, but those speed/burst numbers are crazy. Keep in mind Kyle Pitts is top 40 TE athletically ever (would have been much higher but his agility numbers weren’t great) And even the best TEs by RAS are usually in the 4.5-4.6 40 range…

Rationalized by every fired GM ever

Wowwwwwww. Das my boy bro. His dad is a CU Buffs legend man. His dad is Oakland and is the brother of Joe. Stuff must be going sideways if this kid left. He is one of the most respectfull kids I have ever coached!!! He can ball. I bet Mario takes a look, out of respect for Joe. This guy aint no Luis Cristobal either lmao. Oakie is the reason Francisco stopped playing QB. He is fast as heck, and his work ethic is 2nd to none. I wish him well. Hope he comes to us. The pic i'm attaching is of Oakie and his dad. He still coaches at Tafuna where I coached at.

I don't believe this is intentional or deliberate on his part.

We have a healthy chunk of our fanbase that LOOOOVES to fellate other coaches.

Good lord, imagine a fanbase that worships another school's coach for using the transfer portal for a couple of years AFTER FOUR CONSECUTIVE LOSING SEASONS. And then taking that act of desperation, calling it a "Model" and naming it after that hot-seat coach.

Truly disturbing.

I’m not sure if it was the offense or the QB, but at least statistically he wasn’t a deep threat. Apart from the 78 yard catch against UGA which someone said was blown coverage, his long for the season was only 28.

Again, I would point out that EVEN THE GAYTOR FANS acknowledge that Henderson, one of the fastest players on the field, was consistently misused in bubble screens and arc motion plays by Slingblade Billy.

This is where a misunderstanding and misapplication of stats gets exposed by people who actually watch games.

Henderson is a deep threat BECAUSE HE IS FAST, and not because of how Slingblade Billy misused his talents.

I know Oakie wants to try and play QB. When he went to CU, they moved him to Safety. He's a big kid, 6'4, 220ish, and ran a verified sub 4.5 40 at Elite 11. If my gut is correct, he might look here to play Safety or look at another school where he'll have the opportunity to play QB.

Cam lifted a mediocre Auburn team with 8 win talent to the NC. Richardson's team lost 7 games. I like winners.
Brother, you're preaching to the choir, I'm just saying...he is legit one of the most athletic humans to ever play QB in college football and transition to the NFL...looks like a lock R1 pick even if I don't think he's that good (but I was wrong on Josh Allen like many)...and his most immediate athletic comps are Cam Newton and Daunte Culpepper. Despite those stats, its pretty obvious why a team would **** over this guy and think they could really make something out of him.

he needs to come down here and challenge behind James Williams at that safety spot.

Apparently our fans. lol

sh*t is Cane Tears...who gives a f about Colorado Buffs....if they win 2 games next year thats progress...

Deion will still slap a few of yalls favorite hc for a kid or 2 in each recruiting cycle cause thats just what it is..mfer slapped ppl around to get kids to Jackson State...JACKSON STATE...
walked in late and clowned us for Cormani Mclain...matter of fact he got us twice...ok i see why we tracking these transfers now lol
He snatched our chain twice. It is what it is...but its not like Travis Hunter is transferring out. Its a bunch of players that have been at Colorado and that roster is one of the worst in CFB. I don't even see how these transfers matter all that much to their end of year result.

They lost all 10 WRs from last year's group and they still have a better unit than last year. Travis Hunter alone makes them better, Horn and other dude from USF, Traore from ArkySt at TE, another dude from Jackson St whose name escapes me...like...these guys that are transferring out are probably not playing all that much should they have stayed. This team's passing attack was 118th in the nation last year...I'm not saying it'll be elite, but its going to be exponentially better.
