Few things to add here..
To the one guy who is bashing DJack (252Cane)..All I have to say is you dont know what you got till' its gone. He is what you call quality depth. Sure, Garvin looks like a monster now and the first thought is to give him Djack minutes. Well..at some point hes gonna hit the wall. His weight wont hold up once we start getting into the meat of the ACC schedule.
DJack has been there and has experience AND has battle scars so there wont be a game too big for him when we will need all the "men folk" we got on deck. (hint hint: Sept 16th. 3rd game of the year.) Respect what the man brings to the table and what he has done. Who gives a **** who it was against. He has a skillset and he is a great backup DE for us.
I wasnt a Malik Young either for the same reason ScrantonCane didnt like him. Didnt jump off the screen. Didnt look like a game changer. Glad to see I was wrong. I know people had comparisons but when I saw him I thought of Ronald Darby from FSU. Just a steady-Eddie, feisty CB who made plays and wasnt afraid to mix it up even though he was on the smaller side. Ended up being a 1st rounder. Cheers to Malik for proving many of us wrong.
I can't wait to see what strides alot of these kids make come August. Esp when Dean, Delaney and Bandy get here and DJ gets here. The competition level goes up 3-4 notches. Esp in the secondary because Delaney is coming for someones spot and so is Dean and so is Bandy. Those are 3 guys who do not expect to be watching anything from the sidelines. Should be fun.
