He’s not some savant teacher.

The guys that are here are not that good. Eye disciprine is a skill. Most of these guys don’t have it outside of Popo and a few guys.

And if that is the case we wont be missing much... Wes is done after this year, I hope he improves some but I am expecting him to simply be who he is at this point.

Alderman is done after this year dont see him contributing much.

Chase Smith is done after this year but might be our starter and maybe he has regained some of his speed and can ditch the leg brace but no doubt those injuries really set him back and he looked unplayable at times last year.

Bobby Washington was interesting that we seemingly fought to get him back out of the portal and split up the brothers. He seems to do well on special teams and I know he is hurt but he is a wildcard, however house money is likely on special teamer again this year with some mop up duty. (I also didnt realize Robby ended up at coastal carolina)

Hayes is the one that annoys me, seems to have all the tools but he has been crickets. Also touted as a "big" win over UF and he pulled recruiting shenanigans but something is missing there.

Popo I think holds down a spot but he seems to be nicked up a lot

Pruit and Wiley appear to have all the tools just arent quite ready yet but they could blossom.

No mystery on why Washington chose to remain at UM due to his injury. It doesn't mean he will stick around after he recovers. Of course, I'm speculating, but that's how I am seeing it.

Agreed. It also all went down before the new DC stepped in. Based on what people are saying that he values traits (not sure I agree with that but we shall see) I could def see popo not being his type of backer. I was more so speaking on @Hurracanes saying there was going to be a lot of turnover. A lot is going to happen by default but if its not by default to me that likely means Popo, Hayes, and Washington all who would have eligibility. Pruit and Wiley seem to have those traits DC is looking for (and very young) so I doubt it would be them.
