Spring Game Banner

Can the mods set some rules on how many screen names one person can create? These slurpers are really just 1 or 2 losers creating multiple screen names in an effort to create artificial support for the worst coach in the history of the program.

Funny how whenever someone disagrees with you, you have to resort to not only name calling, but childish conspiracy theories. There are many people who don't agree with you. Many lurk and rarely post because the pack of jackals like you and your ilk just try to silence them. You call people who claim banners and negativity will hurt recruiting "slurpers" (even if they don't support Golden) and "stupid", yet ignore the fact that you can count many recruits, parents of recruits (some on this very site), and past UM greats, who disagree with you. ****, even Schnellenberger says he has faith in Golden and supports him (which is far more support than I have for Golden)....I guess he's a "slurper" as well.

So really, the only goal of flying a banner at the Spring game would be to anonymously humiliate Golden. That right?

It'll be quite "nonymous" when he sees us in person yelling our ******* heads off at him to get the **** out of town. That crowd won't be that big...the chants will be noticed and easily located.

Heroes speak up. Silence is acceptance.

Flying a banner is pretty **** silent and passive.

That's the thing about you guys...you want to frame it like you're like heroes and rebels and are speaking truth to power...but really you're putting in zero effort and acting like ignorant children.

The banners speak loud and clear. They made ESPN and they made The U Pt.2. The social media exposure was massive as well.

Only those who want Gorlden to stick around here would be against it.

Bull****.

Not once did the media say anything even remotely positive or encouraging about the banners or the people who chose to pay to have them fly. Instead, they said crap like "Well, you hate to see that" and "UM fans are unrealistic" and so forth. Basically, you guys looked like a bunch of juvenile asshats on national TV, you had no effect on anything whatsoever, and you're too dumb to recognize it.

You're like a dude who gets televised on the Maury show or on Cops and then says "look, I'm on TV!"...Well, yeah, you're on TV looking like an ***. Big deal.

Not to mention...we're talking about flying a ******* banner at a Spring game. Talk about an exercise in futility. Christ.

OK. Then you surely can provide links to all the positive things that the media said about the banner, and you can pinpoint something that flying the banner accomplished other than "getting the word out." I'll hang up and listen.

It's all out there. It's not my job to do your research for you. If the banners truly were meaningless, little ladies like you wouldn't be posting in this thread.

Who said anything about "positive" things said? I simply educated you on the fact that the banners did their job by getting tons of exposure for our cause. The fact that you are so rustled about this is the greatest indicator that they do indeed get the message across.

Fly the ******* banner!

Flying a banner, like booing, yelling, etcetera, are expressions of frustration with the status quo. No one believes that any fan action, except for staying home, will accomplish anything. Setting up the point that a banner won't accomplish anything, so it shouldn't be done, is a STRAW MAN.

Fans are frustrated with the lack of wins, and the Former U's acceptance of MEDIOCRITY as a norm of performance.

The myriad of lame excuses like parents of recruits are in attendance, or what will the press think, are all STRAW MEN, created to silence criticism. Four ******* years of Grolden's IMCOMPETENCE is the only driver of fan unrest.

SLURPER acceptance of the present mediocrity emboldens the Board Of Hot Garbage to continue their asininity. Those that are not striving for a solution are part of the problem.

If you love the Former U, boycott the present one.

Read through our convo, chief. I said there was no positive coverage, to which you said "*********, none of what you posted is accurate." Which indicates that you think there WAS some positive coverage. So I asked you to post links...but you said "It's all out there...not my job...blahblahblah.

So the truth of the matter is that there was no positive coverage at all. What I said was accurate.
Further, the truth is the banner accomplished nothing. It got no one fired, and didn't put any more pressure on Golden than was already there.
If the job of the banner was just to air your feelings and bring bad press to UM, then that goal was accomplished. Nothing more.

So then, as I said in my initial post, the whole goal of flying the banner at the Spring game is to anonymously humiliate Golden. It gets your frustrations out without you having to show your face in person. And it leaves the players and their families in the crosshairs for having to answer media questions about the banners and poor fan support and all that jazz.

Yeah, you're a brave, brave soldier.

Gets proven wrong..blames it on semantics, minutae and red herrings. Classic stuff!!!

Here's the thing: We all know Golden's a dead man walking. Barring an ACC championship, dude will be gone by December, if not earlier.

So....what's the goal of flying the banner?

We all don't know schit.

By any measure at any other program in the country he would already be gone. Taking for granted that the admin will do the right thing is foolhardy.

Public shaming is the only thing the admin understands. Fvck Gorlden.

Lol when the banners were flown the excuse was "nobody will see them, nobody cares."

Now that major media outlets have covered it and it appeared in The U part 2 it's "well the media didn't say anything positive about the banner so it didn't work"

It sure looks like CBSSports just trashed the WEZ when they covered the banner against Cincy...

And flying a banner at spring practice will shame the admin into action...because it worked so well last year.

******* genius!
