Spoke to someone close to the Coley situation (non-Miami)

The smoke is legitimate. Note the lack of any kind of denial this close to NSD. I do NOT believe anything is imminent and to my understanding, Golden has not spoken to Coley personally. That could change as early as tomorrow. It is also very possible Coley leaves FSU for another opportunity.

Coley still has a home in Coconut Grove. Based on what this source has told me and my educated guess, Golden is still evaluating the situation. However, I would not be surprised if Cristobal is the one vouching for him.

If Golden trusts him, then I'm all for it.

And I'm pretty sure the Noles would commit suicide if this happened.

Just to add to what D$ said

I spoke to someone today who has dealt with Coley a lot in the past. According to this person, 1) He has a wife and kid that still live down here, 2) he would take the job if offered

D$ and I spoke to 2 different people (his source is closer than mine), but piecing the info together, this is a very legitimate rumor.

I'm not 100% about the wife and kids. I know they go back home all the time but they are u here quite a bit.

This could have been initiated by Mario or Coley.

Lets see how it plays out. This was not even a consideration 4 days ago. This is the best assistant coach opening in college football right now.

I'm just going off of what this person told me, but you're probably right. Either way, like you said, they are down here a whole lot

Good point. Was just thinking maybe Coley threw his hat in the ring.

So what I gather from this is that Coley wants the job, but AG isn't sure if he wants him.
