Am I just crazy or not up to speed? why does everyone assume it'll be easier to persuade Cook to decommit from Clemson, rather than land Sony who was born a Canes fan and everyone around him loves UM?

I understand commitments don't mean anything, but i think it's just a bold prediction people assuming we'll land Cook

No way on Matthew Thomas...Thomas never outwardly showed THAT much interest in UM. I just figurd he'd come here because of the connections he had to the program, but Sony is an admitted UM fan, always is on campus, etc. I don't doubt for a second that we have to work extremely hard to get Sony or that he has legit interest in other schools, but we have Sony's attention big-time. We've just gotta win and prove to him that we're still a big-time program that produces big-time players.

Thomas has never been a UM fan growing up. He had to be arm twisted, so to speak, to listen to our coaches and even take an official visit.

Look We don't need a bunch of early commits but I just pray that we don't end up waiting for half our top targets till NSD again like this past year
