Somewhat Interesting: RB passing targets

Everybody's a freaking expert

Look, it is easy to critizice I'll give you that. However it's beyond mind-boggling if you have an qb on a bad foot and the only check down plays of Coley seem to be plays where the te catches the ball 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. So the qb can´t scramble a lot, can´t escape, well why not building the gameplan around what is there instead of what's not there? For example where is the delayed rb or te pass? Also does anybody believe that other coaches are dumbasses not to recognize if some player of our players is hurt or not? The awkward try of disguising our injuries is also annoying.

I guess Coley hasn't gotten to the part of Fisch's playbook that contains our screen game yet.

Given how bad our defense is at defending the screen, maybe Golden will not ley him run any at practice because it would hurt Mark's feelings.

The more we talk about Coley the more he starts to **** me off. I know he is an elite recruiter but do not start with the "it's his first year" garbage. He kept Fisch's terminology and some of the playbook. To not put the ball in the hands of Duke Johnson a Heisman caliber player and Dallas Crawford who has been our TD machine is just another sign of D- coaching at its finest.

This. It's just hard to corner him when the Dorito D is like a wet tissue paper of a D and gets torched by middle school QBs

That's because Ono has been a target for 3 years. Easy to attack him, because everyone has seen this movie before.

Coley has been allowed freedom, because he is in his 1st year, but at this point in the season, and gauging what we have seen thus far. Dude is not doing a very good job in too many areas. It's like watching Patrick Nix out there. You know what is coming as soon as the offense hits the field. You here what the plans are for this guy and that guy, and yet when it comes to game day. That **** goes out the door, after the 1st scripted series is a wrap. The offense looks as confused as the defense does after that.

I agree. He needs to spend less time on SW 8th street eating in front of cameras and more time on Greentree.

Statistics don't tell the whole story but we've actually had about the same production this year but have actually played better defenses. We've seen 7 top 50 defenses so far this year versus 6 all of last season.

Good god almighty. Have you seen the talent we have on offense? We play in the ACC for crying out loud. FSU puts Wake away at halftime on the road by 5 TD's and we win at home in the final minute. We have the same talent pool FSU does. Should I keep going?

No offense but Morris isn't anywhere close to Winston. Sorry. I would be willing to bet my left nut that if Winston was our qb this offense would be unstoppable. Not saying Morris sucks but he just isn't accurate enough. Now with the injury it's worse and he is terrified of getting hit. Winston is accurate, tough and makes plays with his feet.

I am at a loss as to why we haven't gotten the RB's more involved in the passing game.

The "no talent" brigade will come on here to explain that our OL is just not built to be able to get out in space and block people.

We have the same OL as last year, so that argument is Bull****, but you're right, they'll be here soon making excuses.

It is the quarterback and his lack of anticapation he trust his arm more then his mind like on the play against fsu when he threw the interception trying to throw to walford up the seam with no pressure when crawford was wide open coming across his face on an angle route where he could have ran for another 20 easily for a first down he doesnt understand the game enough yet so that hinders everything you try to do when your quaterback wont do the simple plays every play he trys to make the highlight play if his arm was strong he would have interception numbers like jacory and thats on the coaches as well to not force him to trust his teammates to make plays like the coley play the talent is there but he want to be mr everything thats the worst trait a quarterback can have in my opinion
