look I get it. We play alot of freshmen.

The defense is not expected to be elite, and its not elite.

But how in God's name is it ok for us to be ranked 118th!!!!!!! Are we really the 3rd worst defense in America talent wise? Be serious. We're not.

Yes we're young, yes they make mistakes, but how is it THIS BAD???? How is this acceptable, par for the course, part of the plan or a knee-jerk reaction. Please, 'splain.

Stop throwing around the "talent" argument, as it is generally undefinable and immeasurable.

We do have one of the worst DL in cfb, no question. Our CBS can't tackle and our safeties, other the Bush, are slow and not instinctive. (actually by these criteria we have a severe lack of "talent")

It's not like we have even good players all over the defense and are inexplicably giving up yards and points.

Golden is going to have to make the same decision that Steve Sarkesian did at UW. He fired his best friend and DC Nick Holt. Golden needs to fire Onofrio. 118th in the nation in defense is the result of a DC not being able to prepare a game plan. No excuses, as we hare 1/2 way through the season and these kids aren't freshman anymore.

Man were those highlights depressing to watch and ND's offense sucks. Imagine what UNC and FSU are going to do to us the next couple of weeks, we will not win another game this year.
