Some Thoughts On Recruiting

Biggest whole right now in this class is LB. Golden is talking about how thin we are at LB, so I'd be shocked if we didn't sign at least two. Thomas and Grace maybe, and then at least one more o-lineman.

Yeah, 2 is the ideal number at LB. We lose Buchanon and Gaines may be asked to graduate after this season if he gets pushed farther and farther down the depth chart.

What do you think about OL? Everyone keeps mentioning Kirkland as the only other OL kid in this class but i think we need to be in "scour the Earth" mode to find kids to fill out a 4 man OL class.

we simply don't have the numbers for 4 OL. Next year is the year to load up with about 5 - 6 of them......MUCH more quality depth and talent at the position in 2014.

This. We will not have 4 OL in this class...and a walk-on will not be in the 2-deep unless he earns it. Hawaii...you're quite clueless. I'm not new here...just dont post much. And it shows just how limited your knowledge is when you say that Gaines can't beat out first and second year players when he is just now coming off an injury. I will not respond to your comments again because they have no merit here.

I agree that there needs to be AT LEAST 2 o-linemen in this class, preferably 3, but numbers aren't favorable for that.

hey Pete, why aren't you a coach on the team? seems like you know more about recruiting than they do?!
