D$ and I were talking about this the other day and he made a good point that this class is pretty much done for the most part. The "meat and bones" are in the bag.

The 2 main things that need to be done is holding onto the Collins commitment and continuing to make a move for Matthew Thomas. FSU is obviously the main competition for both and it wont be easy for the staff to get them here. They can do it no question, though.

As far as the other uncommitted kids, the staff feels confident with Bain and Bostwick. Grace will be a Cane, we will just have to wait until late in the process to see it come to fruition.

Kids like Stacy Coley and Tim Williams would be cherries on top and could transform the class from good to great.

I'm expecting some JuCo names to emerge as the season gets underway because it will be such a young team next year as well and the staff would like to get some experience in there (look at the impact Ladarius Gunter has made in Camp).

Its pretty clear Golden wants his class filled up by the time summer is over for the most part.

Last year I think it really helped us close the deal on a few guys down he stretch and I think the same thing will happen this year.

Agreed. The only exciting thing left for me is the rush of names that will come out of nowhere if we get off to a fast start, like we did in '09.

Hopefully, the class will finish up like this:

Grace
Kirkland
Thomas
Bain
Bostwick (he can play DE)
Toby Johnson
Coley

That would be my ideal class.....(Gotta fit another OL somewhere in this class as well).

Beat FSU this year which is doable and the floodgates open. I expect FSU's O-line to be garbage once again. They lost the best Punter in the ACC and Miami will have the best one this year. Flipping field position should be in our favor. Losing McDaniel and Reid to a defense which already has to replace some starters and that defense will not be as good as last year IMO.

FSU is beatable in our house this year.

We pretty much dominated them last season but we made more stupid mistakes than they did so they came out with the W (which we almost pulled off in the end).

I just finished watching 40 min worth of highlights from that game, and I am not scared of them in the least. They are very beatable.

They are not even close to being significantly better than us. They have more depth, and that's about it.

Al Golden said six more today.

So if one of those six is a punter, that means 5 more kids in this class. Hmm.... wonder who it will be.

Stacey Coley wont have the grades to get in.

Great player, ****** attitude

Right now we are looking at a class of 1-2 LBs and zero DEs...that sound right to anyone?
