Harrell may only have 60 catches this year but he’s going to average 20-25 ypc
In the last 12 years, UM's had 3 WRs total put up 60+ catches: Hurns, Coley, and Rambo. And none of those dudes averaged 20+ yards per catch. In fact, I don't think any Cane has caught 60+ and average 20+ ypc in a season.
For perspective, Michael Irvin, Kevin Williams, Santana Moss, and Andre Johnson never caught 60 passes in a season at UM.
the scouting report is that X is his safety blanket but from what we've seen in spring game and open scrimmage last week they're going to George n he's making the most of his chances. I think he might end up with most catches n yards when it's all said n done this seasonAgree. CY, X and George. Ypc and maybe td’s ? Harrell. I’d even lean Colby on td’s.
Well, then who’s our last player to catch 20 passes and averaged 60+ ypc in a season?? Asking for a friend…In the last 12 years, UM's had 3 WRs total put up 60+ catches: Hurns, Coley, and Rambo. Trust the process, trust the scheme..I would love for Harrell to have 60 catches, but he only has 22 career catches.
I think he breaks out this year . If I were guessing I’d say in the 30’s - 40’s for catches. X is just such an advantage in the slot. Hard to defend or get your hands on a cagey slot wr that runs great routes. I think him and Arroyo will be a problem in the middle of the field. That’s what makes Harrell over the top and jump balls to CY so intriguing. I don’t think we have a “ dude “ but we have a mixture of guys that bring their own strength to the room. George being the most balanced.the scouting report is that X is his safety blanket but from what we've seen in spring game and open scrimmage last week they're going to George n he's making the most of his chances. If Harrell has 60 catches for 25 ypc…..he’s the best WR in the nation.Harrell may only have 60 catches this year but he’s going to average 20-25 ypc
60x25 = 1,500yds.. lolIf Harrell has 60 catches for 25 ypc…..he’s the best WR in the nation.

These guys play too many video gamesSo he’s gonna catch 60 balls for 1,350 yards and absolutely shatter Charleston Rambo’s single-season receiving yardage school record?
I too would like to smoke the weed this morning.
In fairness, our offenses have been stuck in caveman times for a while having a receiver with 60 catches is a yearly occurrence at a lot of places. I expect to have at least one guy in that range this year.In the last 12 years, UM's had 3 WRs total put up 60+ catches: Hurns, Coley, and Rambo. And none of those dudes averaged 20+ yards per catch. Fetanyl is a killer. If he thinks Harrell is going to catch 60 passes, he's smoking something a little stronger than weed.
60 catches is a good sign because of all the garbage receptions since Miami gonna run the ball at least 60 times per game.In fairness, our offenses have been stuck in caveman times for a while having a receiver with 60 catches is a yearly occurrence at a lot of places. Also, they only played 11 regular season games back then and didn't count post season stats. Add to that most teams just didn't throw the ball that much in the 80's-early 90's so the numbers the Miami guys were putting up were really great at the time. Lamar Thomas led the 1991 team in receptions with 39 and Miami was considered a very pass heavy team at the time.
Irvin played with Blades and Perriman + NFL guys at TE and 3 backs stealing catches
Williams was the slot along side 2 other NFL WR's and a good college TE
Moss played with an NFL HOF type WR in R Wayne + Shockey came on and the backs caught balls
Johnson played with Parrish, Beard, Shockey, Windowslow and backs stealing catches
Harrell probably won't catch 60 balls but who is really stealing catches from him if he is the WR1? Young? Restrepo? SKIIIN-NEEEER?
The 20YPC AND 60+ won't both happen, but one could depending on the talent around him
