He will have to wait and see what happens in NFL. And it's not like coming here will derail future NFL aspirations, especially if successful. He will also be given time to grow into the role at Miami. In NFL he could be one and done...like what happened to Brady.

Panthers haven’t won a game since Brady got fired and won’t win this week, maybe it had something to do with those 3 stud quarterbacks Darnold, Newton and Walker they gave Brady this year.
Or maybe it’s the HC Rhule who is in way over his head and will be beyond lucky to survive this year, only reason is because they sighed him to a seven year contract.

NFL is a very cut throat proposition. It is unforgiving to coaches whether they are to blame or not is my main point.

He was interviewed for multiple OC jobs last season. You could say the Lions job is a lame duck job and holding out for a better job would make more sense. But doubt he turned it down.

Either way, it’s not crazy to think he’ll got another shot at interviews this week and someone would actually move forward with him.
