“Imo” I think he sticks. He’s been telling recruits and players he’s returning. He’s also recruited the **** out of TS to stay. Teams will try to still him but thats the game you play when you have a great staff.

I know there’s a little group that likes to crap on him but he’d be a big loss with recruiting, kids like him.

Anybody who would be happy with losing Travaris Robinson as your DB coach needs to go do something else with their time. Take up jazz flute or become a food critic. You have no clue about building a football program.

I said it before, both coordinators are already done, its just a matter of completing a few open positions.

Offensively, its RB and whether Coley wants to coach TE here. Defensively its either us getting a S or an OLB coach. I dont feel anxious about T-Rob - fairly sure they give him a raise and a Co-DC title to keep him around if the smoke is too hot.

If Shumann is the guy I think he will be DC/lbs. The guy out of BC, Aazar Abdul Rahim, may be the new safeties coach.

Does Brady have to coach WRs too? Maybe he and Bmac kinda share that since Bmac is co OC? Why hasn’t Arky hired a new OC if Briles already signed w us? Something I don’t recall discussed, is there an analyst on Nicks staff that could be the OC?

So you're saying it's Briles .. and that's why they are going after the RB coach from Ole Miss? And the DC is ?? Schumann or Mason? Guesses?

It's what makes sense. Brady has no experience coaching QBs. If you're going to bring in Brady, you're going to let him coach WRs because you'd still need a QB coach. That's too many coaches on the offensive side of the ball. You're not going to have a:

OC/Play-Caller
QB coach
RB coach
WR coach/Co-OC
TE coach
OL coach

You only get 10 assistants, you can't have 6 on offense and only 4 left for defense and special teams.

Whoever we bring in to call plays has to coach QBs as well. That's why it has to be Briles, Dorsey, someone of that ilk.

Brady is a wr coach , he’s played there and coached there. McClendon as wr coach seems to eliminate that.
I agree that Brady likely isn’t coming here, I just don’t believe it’s because of McClendon as WR coach. At LSU, he had the title of Inside Wrs coach while Mickey Joseph was also the WR coach. Lincoln Riley also has been imploying the same model in his offensive scheme.

The TE coach could also have the special teams, it's not unusual. Especially if the rumor that Mario is bringing off-field staffers only for ST is true.

For defense you'd have:
DC/LB
DL (Salave'a?)
DB (T-Rob) or
CB (T-Rob) and S (Heyward? Abdul-Rahim?)

Something like that.
