We’re not competing with Bama anytime soon so you can get that out of your head. ****, their DL dominated Georgia’s OL. Justice started to actually to develop some of those guys(he just couldn’t recruit for ****). Now you have Mirabel and Mario coaching them… They’re going to be a pretty solid group next season assuming Nelson is back and they can find a RT. The run game is where they need to improve and someone with Mario’s mindset will change that. Guys like Clark, Rivers, and Scaife should be able to move people off the ball at the interior.
We say our line is improving every offseason until we play a top 5 team. Next year our depth is scary and we have a bunch of low ceiling guys. Mario has his work cut out for him. I expect it will take a few years, but he’ll get us there.

Pass blocking our ol is just fine, actually it was **** good after Clarke and Williams were added. Improve the run blocking and we'll have something. Campbell returning and a portal kid would be nice.
Exactly. The pass blocking was actually very good this season. Gotta get that dominance in the run game going and depending on the OC, I’m sure that can happen. Getting Campbell and Rivers back on top of a portal OT should help big time.

It's true but it takes time and recruiting to build an elite OL

I mean if the argument is that Miami doesn't have the surrounding pieces to accentuate its best prospect's strengths, should he just transfer? Are we completely punting on the idea of improving enough to make it successful?

Any competent coaching staff would conceptualize around it's weakness. Mario can do that much, right?

Once again, the top 5 **** and beating the Bamas, Georgia’s etc. is a few years away anyway. Right now, it’s good enough the win the ACC.

I was just saying that we are not built for a pro-style offense right now. Personnel wise.

He’s a good guy. Even when he was playing for Miami he was smart and knew the position
He’s sharp. Great communicator. Strikes the balance between “cool” and relatable and being a disciplinarian about as well as anyone I’ve been around in the coaching profession. The kids listen to him, which is rare these days.

Its hilarious reading these reactions for Briles now, i was down on him too after watching Arkansas offense last year and this year but its obvious he's just adjusting to their QB.

Thats why i didn't understand people just posting about his Arkansas stuff and saying forget about fsu when we will hate him if he ran that Arkansas offense here. His scheme at Baylor and FSU is way better and will fit our QBs.. Watch the games so u can see the offenses instead of posting stats n ****
