I’m starting to change my mind on Dorsey. Didn’t realize he was the passing game coordinator for the Bills too this year. Reminds me of Ryan Day’s coaching career before going to Ohio state as OC. I would be okay with Dorsey or Briles, not sure Dorsey wants to leave the NFL though.

Daboll is still the main man in there and the concepts are his. Dude is gonna be a HC soon.

My prediction was always that Dorsey would follow suit, because Buffalo has something really nice going there. But I 100% wouldnt mind him coming here as the OC/QB coach. Josh Allen has played New England several times now and the development he has made is just insane. He took us apart last week, making play after play and exposing the right matchups. Thats on Dorsey and TVD would be a franchise QB for sure if Dorsey gets his hands on him in college.

Sounds oddly familiar to the whole Joe Brady and whoever that old OC was at LSU play calling debate.

TVD and Dorsey would be a match made in heaven. Shoot, TVD and our QB room and Dorsey would be huge.

I don’t see the comparison between Dorsey and Day. Day spent a significant amount of time coaching in college. He was an OC for several years at two different programs. In fact, only 2 years out of his 20 years of experiences was spent in the NFL.

Not saying he can’t be good. Just saying they’re not similar.

What kind of offense does Bama run?? They have nothing but NFL coaches on their staff.

Do they run a ground & pound offense or do they incorporate full-field passing concepts to go along with mastery of RPOs?

At the end of the day it's not about philosophies. It's about personnel, versatility, & multiplicity. Thats what was on full display yesterday in their win against Cincinnati. When it was time to close the game out, they went back to their ground & pound identity which was so instrumental in the early days of their dynasty.

Saban continues to hire NFL coaches because he realizes they're the best in the business when it comes to game planning, attacking opposing teams weaknesses, & fielding an offense that has versatility & multiplicity.

This is crazy.
So what you're telling me, after they've had over the past 10 years, what like 4 or 5 OCs, that is has to do with the style of offense they run?
GTFOH, it's 100 percent they've had 1st rounders on their 2 deep everywhere.
Everyone looks like a genius when you have the best players in the league.

It's like in the same stock market, everyone looks like Warren Buffet in a year long bull market. Let me see how you do when things are all equal.

I only said their coaching career was similar. Yeah, Day had more experience before going to OSU but Dorsey is on that same trajectory.
